Not to mention the forked stick would have to be pretty darned big.
THat's where the antlers came in. I was expecting a sling-shot using the rack as the "forked stick".
Hey...It could happen. LOL!

Transgendered Deer Murdered by NRA Member -- Boston Globe

Shouldn't that start with "Peaceful ..." or "Innocent ..." or something like that?

With a bow and arrow

With an arrow? Stick-bow? Recurve or longbow? 300 yards is pretty far unless you had the wind at your back. No problem with the rest of it. Saw a one-arm golfer hit one off the tee about 500 yards. Kind of embarrassing to the rest of us.

Before Columbia Univeristy went down the tubes, the journalism school put out book on news media gaffes. "Rescue Squad Helps Dog Bite Victim", etc.

Now, what's "wrong" is either intentional, or they don't know any better. The dumbing down of America.

How is this:
A peaceful Transgendered Deer was murdered today while nursing young by a vicious, blood thirsty, homophobic NRA Member. Authorities say they have never witnessed such a hate crime and will seek the death penalty.

Long bow. Of course I had it reduced to 3 feet long and fitted with a special "pull" nob so I could use my teeth. With the shorter length it created about 400 lbs of thrust -- which explains the distance despite the wind.

What -- you calling me a liar!

Only half kidding. We wasted half an hour in a for real English Grammar class in college over this. He don't. He doesn't. I am. I ain't. You are. He ain't. They aren't. Some get real insistent, and that ain't no laughing matter.
