I'm on conservativematch.com, but I've never bothered to join. I've never found enough women who seemed interesting to me to make me want to spend the money to be part of the site. The big problem is that very few women are close to where I live. While a long-distance relationship can sometimes work, I'm just not enthusiastic about it. I guess I'd join if someone interesting sent me an e-mail, but that's never happened.
One of the funny things about conservativematch.com is that the site's policy is to provide for heterosexual meeting only, but when I ask for a search, I have to specify that I'm searching for a woman. When I was on Yahoo, they would automatically confine my searches only to women. To some extent, I like being able to check out what other guys are writing just to evaluate the competition, but I am frustrated when the default search includes men.
I also joined Republican People Meet at one time, but I haven't been as impressed by it. This site is oriented more towards older people. I receive e-mails once a week or so telling me who has joined, and most of the newly available women are in their 50's and 60's. The thing that bothered me the most about Republican People Meet is that when I visited the site the first time after joining, they made me fill out more profile questions before I could see anything. One of those was income, and I don't like to post my income on a profile for everyone to see.
I think I've already mentioned that when I tried to join e-Harmony, they told me that they couldn't help me. That's not exactly the most encouraging news that a guy can hear.

Boy, you sound like me. I went to the Republican Meet site after reading your post, but got put off by all the personal questions first. Just let me browse! E-Harmony couldn't help me either. I might join the other site you mentioned, as I am one of those older ladies you mentioned. I saw a few posts from men, but you had to join to see any real detail. I'm not in the mood tonight. But thanks for the heads up re the sites; at least I have some new places to look.
