We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Today is it. Make the DemoncRATS crawl back in their hole.
Vote. People died so you can have this right; exercise the franchise that is your birthright.
And, above all, if you do not vote, don't get angry when I tell you to shut up if you didn't vote. You don't vote, you accept the outcome. If you want to whine, you have to express your opinion at the ballot box.
Other things I don't want to hear:
** My vote wasn't counted--how do you know, it's a secret ballot.
** My vote was counted incorrectly--how do you know, it's a secret ballot.
** My vote was wrong because my ballot was handled incorrectly--how do you know, it was a secret ballot.
** I want a receipt that shows how I voted--how can you tie it back to your ballot, it was a secret ballot.
So...
Let's get on with the Great American Experimnet!
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairmam.
Well, first, the parking lot was full, so we parked across the street in a residential area. Second, the woman at the desk where the "b" people go to begin the process, told us to go to another table. This happens alot since most people "hear" the second letter of our last name "l" and not the first. We didn't move and finally checked in. We both were asked for identification. Voting was quick and easy.
On the way out, a young man thanked me for voting. I thanked him for being there and told him I use to work the polls until recently.
I was glad to see a Republican Party Representative who hymned me a sample ballot. I told him I was glad to see him since I usually only saw the Dems there. The last couple of elections when I have not worked at the polls, I have not seen the Pubbie rep.
All in all, it went smoothly as it always does for me.
It snowed overnight...wet..icy snow! Someplace between there and LaFayette ..I saw my life flash in front of me and the newspaper headlines..Newlywed couple die in car crash... as our car slid down the huge hill on Rte 20.
Thank goodness, Greg is such a good driver. My hero!! ;-)
Happy Anniversary? Or was it earlier and you took a trip after your wedding day? I AM so confused!
Is it your anniversary?????
If so, have a blessed day.
Off to do more work.
aw jeez.....but, but, I thought Hillary and Schumer were supposed to have make New York PERFECT by now!!! LOL
Sadly, my daughter (surrounded by artists and teachers in her everyday life) voted straight dem. BUT...she scratched and voted for Dickerson over Julia Carson, so that is a good thing! I commended her for voting and for being discerning! LOL!
Then I gave my little talk about how it would be a good thing for the African-American community if black votes weren't automatically democrat, using my list of times a well-qualified black dem was up for a job and got overlooked for a white guy (Mondale/Washington, Pelosi/Ford, etc.) She, of course, didn't know any of this. Then she said she thought there was racism in both parties. I told her, perhaps so, but we run black candidates for Senate and are proud to have had two black secretaries of state while the democrats put them in token jobs, and I was proud of our party's position on race.
Said very nicely, but I am working on her for the general election in two years, and the GOP vote for 7th district Congress over Julia Carson, the Embarassment of Indiana, was a good first step.
...NETWORKS ONLY AGREE TO EMBARGO POLLING DATA UNTIL 5 PM--MANY POLLS OPEN LATER THAN THAT...
...IGNORE THE EXIT POLL DATA--NOTE THESE WORDS FROM DICK MORRIS IN 2004...
The networks did get the exit polls wrong. Not just one of them. They got all of the Bush states wrong.
NOTE THAT--EVERY REPUBLICAN STATE WAS WRONGLY PREDICTED BY EXIT POLLING IN 2004!

I HAVE IT!!! The dims are going to file suite against GOD for making it rain thus, keeping the suppressed from voting!
FOR THE FIRST TIME, EVER, THE NEW YORK TIMES DOES NOT ENDORSE A SINGLE GOP CANDIDATE FOR OFFICE
What a shocker! Didn't even bother to trot out the "token Republican" this time.
Welcome to ATRW. I'm sure by now you've voted. Good on ya'! You are spot on that we must do everything possible to pass on our heritage intact to the future generations.
How has the day gone with your grandson? How old is he?
I'll be voting straight Republican!
Kinda gives some perspective, right?
Which party is calling for us to withdraw from Iraq???
election days....Democrats...my looooooooooong memory for their shenanigans...well that explains my lapse! LOL
Mehlman was just on Rush Limbaugh's show and reminded Rush about the Democrat memo found in 2004 that tells voters to allege voter fraud, even if there was none.
Does anyone remember that memo and have a link?
bbl
At the end of the day I'll let you know how many PERSONAL calls we made. You will be stunned, but I don't want any Dems to wake up til later. LOL!
I bet you were calling confirmed Rs, always, hence the good responses.
No organization - except Dems - is going to waste time at this point on random calls & voters.
I don't Peach, but If I see anything will elt you know.

Mehlman was on Rush a while ago and said that people who typically vote during the day are more likely to vote Democrats; Republicans vote after work starting around 4 or 5:00.
I have a question for someone with a better memory than I have. Brit Hume was on FNC and said that every single pollster of any note has reported the Republicans are going to lose the House.
Were all those pollsters wrong in 2000, 2004 and 2002 also or did they at least think we stood a chance? I just don't remember.
