Faith Hill furious she didn't win
11/6/06

When commie country singer's name was not announced as Female Vocalist of the Year, she was backstage and screamed "What?" and stormed off out of camera range. Yeah, yeah, it was George Bush's fault.

***WOW! This is news to me...what did she say to label herself a RAT? I'm not into country music fan so I'm kinda in the the dark here.***

I haven't read the whole thread, so someone might have already told you this. After Hurricane Katrina Faith and Tim were flapping their mouths all over the place about how disgraceful the handling of Hurricane Katrina was and they blamed it on the President and said it all had to do with politics. (in other words they were mouthing the Democrat talking points)

That video was unbelievable. There is no way that was just a joke. You could just see that she was expecting her name to be called and she was ticked off that it was Carrie Underwood.

Kris handed her the award.

"Take the Wheel" is typical, but Carrie's "Before he Cheats" has the most clever lyrics I've heard in decades. That song shows she's more than just a great voice, she's also a real talent.

I still love Gretchen, though.

LOL. Complete with the little Clinton lip bite. How sweet. She & her hubby think Billyboy is the greatest president ever.

She said something after the nominees were read. I could make out what looked like "better" & "win" but couldn't make out the whole thing. Hopefully someone is good at lip reading.

I couldn't make out anything. I hope someone can.

As much as I don't like her politics I thought "Cry" was one of the most powerful songs ever.

I think this goes in the same category and Shania Twain where some people refuse to acknowedge talent for some jealous reason.

That's great. Now can you get a shot from one her first videos where she drops her clothes into the washer?

She is one hot woman.

Carrie Underwood's CD has been on Billboard's top 5 Country albums for the past 50 weeks--tough to argue she hasn't been the most successful female artist this year. This isn't a lifetime achievement award...She sold 4 million albums, the others didn't.

My wife and I got her CD when it first came out. When we heard "Before He Cheats" we said, "That's the best song on the album." I was convinced they weren't going to make a video of it bec it didn't fit her image. When that came out I was blow away -- they actually did it right.

Not that she was unattractive before but since she lost a little weight, she looks stunning.

"Faith made a face when carrie won the CMT music award for breakthrough artist. I think faith has a problem with carrie..."

That explains it. I wonder if her husband has made a comment on Carrie's attractiveness? Faith should be careful with this, people may want to go back and research her own history.

Meh. I'd prefer to see her put a little "curve" back on. She looks great either way, though.

If you pause the video in the right spot, it's a real "Exorcist" moment. LOL.

What Faith Hill never mentions, and many of her fans don't know, is that she once sang with a Southern Gospel group, The Steeles, when she was known as Audrey Faith Perry.

I will withhold my own personal opinion.

Underwood didn't write "Before He Cheats."

None of these Nashville starlets write their own material.
