9th Circuit Court Rules Republican's Vote Tues and Democrats Vote on Wed.
It's a joke! | 11/6/2006

AP - Newswisre - 11/6/2006 - 11:33AM

Due to unusually high number of voters expected at polls tomorrow, the Democrats filed a law suit to get voting extending to two days. The Ninth Circuit Court of appeals has ruled that registered Republicans are to vote on Tuesday, November 7th and registered Democrats are to vote on November 8th. Independents, other non-mainstream parties and unaffiliated voters can vote on either day.

If a Democrat tries to vote on Tuesday the voter will be instructed to come back on Wednesday. If a Republican tries to vote on Wednesday, the voter will not be allowed to vote. Ken Mehlman, Chairman of the Republican National Committee said he plans to appeal this to the supreme court as it has the effect of giving the Democrats two days to vote and it allows exit polling to predict how many democrats are needed to vote the following day to win.

Howard Dean, praised the 9th Circuit's ruling saying, "The people's voices will be heard this election." Larry Sabato of the University of Virginia Center for Politics said he doesn't expect the Supreme Court to intervene as the the Republican's would have to show irreparable harm if the election is extended to two days. "Harm can't be shown until after the election so the ruling will most likely stand. If the Supreme Court doesn't intervene by midnight tonight the ruling will stand."

Of course it's a joke, but be sure to share the fun with your liberal buddies.

They'll have a great laugh on Wed. when they try to find their voting location.

You shouldn't do this. It's funny; I'm sitting here chuckling. But FR doesn't need the bad PR this will cause. The MSM looks for things to accuse conservatives of and they will pounce on this.

This is a good idea. It will cut down on the violence and hate at the polls by DemocRATS who disapprove of Republicans voting for Republicans. Gaia Bless The 9th Circus and their little unicycles.

Well, that locks it in. George Bush, acting under his Constitutional Penumbric powers already moved the principal date for voting to Wednesday earlier.

Glad to see the 9th Circuit confirm the wisdom of his judgment in the matter.

Definitely let all your Liberal and Democrat friends know that election day is Wednesday ~

Let the press blame me for them losing. This is an old joke and if they can't find the funny in it...then they are the type of idiot that falls for this joke.

Next they'll be whining because Demonrats are turned away from voting on Tuesday: "Disenfranchised! Our poorest voters, who can only get 10 minutes off on Tuesdays because of their Evil Overlord Employers are being REFUSED at the polls! We feeeeel that all Demonrats should be given a month to vote just in case we can bribe a few more to come in and hang a chad for our side."

ARGH!! When will it ever END?!?
