Ken Mehlman, Chairman of the Republican National Committee said he plans to appeal this to the supreme court as it has the effect of giving the Democrats two days to vote and it allows exit polling to predict how many democrats are needed to vote the following day to win.

Like this isnt something they havent thought of yet
