There's the the new commercial with the billionaire Maloof brothers. If you have that much, a $6,000 Carl's Jr. Six Dollar Burger Combo Meal is a piffle. For the rest of us, its wretched excess.
Who are these guys? When did this happen?
They own the Sacramento Kings NBA team.
No wonder they can afford a night out at the Palms Casino. This is America - and if you want to pay that much for a burger and fries, that ought to be your choice.
It's a better deal than $500,000 to the clintoon birthday party. At least you get a decent burger for your 6K.
Thanks for the information.
I am curious about the cost of the meal - was it because they had to fly in a corporate jet and hire a motorcar to eat at this Carl's Jr. or is that the sum that they paid for the burger itself?
Palms Casino Offers $6,000 Burger
(AHN) -- A midnight craving for a hamburger could cost $6,000 if you're staying at the Palms Casino. This pricey burger will now be offered as part of the hotel's room service and coffee shop menu.
The burgers will come from food chain Carl's Jr., which is a sister chain to Hardee's restaurant. Since the franchise is not available inside the hotel, the franchise owner said the hotel bell hop will drive to Carl's Jr. to fetch it when ordered.
Fortunately, anyone spending $6,000 on a burger is going to get more than a meat patty and two buns. The sandwich comes with a bottle of 24-year-old French Bordeaux. The burgers started selling on Tuesday.
The reason the burger is so expensove is you get a bottle of 24 year old French Bordeaux to go along with it. No wonder its so pricey!
Thanks, I thought that there had to be something more to it what with a price of $6,000.
You’d think they’d just send the chauffeur out to the local burger joint. Yes, this is America, and you can spend your money any way you like, but if keep spending on frivolous stuff like this, you won’t have it for long, no matter how much you have.
