Yea....
--next spring , when I traverse Corn Country, I'll be watching to see evidence that the machinery used in planting, cultivation and harvest of corn is rapidly being converted to use ethanol and bio-diesel--
The problem is not "the oil companies". Public oil companies have very little influence on oil prices, as the true owners are the countries with their own internal oil companies.
Exxon/Mobil, as the public leader they are, only "control" under 8% of all oil reserves. Aramco controls more than 20 times the reserves of Exxon/Mobil and Lukoil is about the same size as Exxon/Mobil, not to mention all the other state-run companies throughout the world.
Your "Big Oil", isn't.
