Nah, that was yesterday's fun. I'm looking for new fun for today.
BTW, I think it's funny that the press was briefed about this "mundane" announcement last week, and they kept their mouths shut. It really must be mundane then, or else the NY Slimes would have had it on their front page, just below the latest government secret.

Google supposably, its a real word and is used in proper context dear English Professor. Funny how the Oxford Dictionary recognizes it and no freeper does.

If I remember right it came in a binary code, but that was a long time ago since I heard the information. You might contact Dr. Frank Drake of SETI. He would know more about this than I would.

This is the only press release I found. Strangely enough, I can walk to this place from my apartment.

There's nothing to this. Drake's first attempt picked up a strong, brief signal that was never repeated. No messages have come from ET civilizations -- at least, nothing that has ever been recognized as such. Try a search though on "the Wow signal", which was picked up (again, never repeated) at (I think) Ohio State.

IF that's the SETI Institute's idea of a major announcement, they need to sit down and have a long hard look at themselves.
