Yankees down to their last 27 outs!
Posted on 10/06/2006 9:02:44 PM PDT by ElTiante
Ok Seriously.
I've never been a fan of the guy, but wow did Rogers look sharp tonight. 7 2/3, 0 runs, 8K. He really had something to prove tonight and did he ever.
A-Fraud AKA Mr March, went 0-3 and is batting .125 for the series.
Watching the Yankees lose NEVER GETS OLD!

He only faced one batter in the 8th and Todd Jones went the 9th.

Bonderman going out to pitch the 9th, CG attempt
Did Mariano Rivera pitch at all this series? Maybe Gm 1 or
did they use someone else in the 9th...

Yankees had t-shirts saying "got postseason?" Yes, Yankees
did, but not for long.

yes, and WFAN comes in well here (in fact I'm visiting my Dad on Sunday & Monday on the Cape and I know it'll come in down there)

LOL! The Tigers are ready to party! Good for them. I just LOVE this crowd. Like a typical game at Fenway times 100...

The four postseason Yankee games were more enjoyable to us than to Yankee fans. It's sweet.

I think Mariano Rivera pitched in one of the games, but I missed parts of games 1 and 2... I'm not sure.

I'm not much of a baseball fan so I didn't even know baseball season was still going on. When I think of baseball all I can think of was that article I read after the finish of the first season after the last strike.
There was 2445 regular season baseball games that year and only 34 Winston Cup races.
There were more people at those 34 races than there were at all those baseball games. Guess there were some real mad fans that year for attendance to be that bad.

Over time I notice that we have been in strong agreement on every topic that's flown across the FR radar.
Are you sure we weren't separated at birth? :)
To: raccoonradio
yup, MLB.com says Rivera pitched 1 inning in gm 1 and that was it

Well that's like Pap in that 5 game NYY-BOS series in Fenway. It's why I'm glad Pap will start next year.
