Looks like you guys in Pennsylvania are getting the shaft. Will it be worth going out of state to buy a car now? Auto dealers must be really happy with this!

We're getting more than the shaft, recently the state announced a $2.3Bil deficit in public transportation and roads. A raise in the PA gas tax, already among the top 10 highest in the nation, along with increased fares and service cuts is the suggested solution.

An increase in the price of gas is sure to follow with the heightened emissions standards due to having to use reformulated gas which cuts emissions.

So let's see, an increase in the price of the vehicle, an increase in the base price of the fuel, an increase in the tax on the fuel........ where is my property tax break again?

Ed "the thug" Rendell is flooding the airwaves touting his fiscal responsibility and his increased spending for seniors and schools while the working class gets jammed up again. Come on PA, let's vote for more democrats!!!! There just isn't enough waste and sense of entitlement in this Commonwealth... 'Common' "wealth" how apropos.

BTW I heard on the radio someone is already challenging this in federal court.

Just ONE more reason to leave before the Democrats take over in January and finish bleeding us of every last drop of blood and our guns as well. Memo to self: Call the realtor tomorrow.

"reformulated gas "
Less MPG with that, also.
Would be nice if the 'pubs could make some political hay out of this.

What a joke. We just escaped CA to PA!

Well at least our cars are already up to "snuff" by CA standards - both passed smog/emissions in the past 3 months.

Sadly, the state legislature is actually run by republicans, RINOs to be more precise. The problem is the thick population of union democrats and idiots. Those people who vote democrat because that's what they've always done and don't have any idea what they are voting for, all the while insisting that it was unions that built America. Sorry, it was Americans that built America, unions just staked claim on the credit.

Case in point the recent "PA Clean Sweep" win that ushered out many pro-gun legislators. Now the 2nd Amendment is under attack because people were upset that they voted themselves a pay raise.
