I believe it. Hasn't it been rather obvious for years that this woman is a money-grubbing pig?
The media will use these pictures to sell magazines and make huge profits off him as well. These mags will not be free. Why should the media profit off his death? She should put the money away for her newborn daughter as a gift from the brother she will never know.

I really don't fault her...flame away. Somehow, somewhere, someday, somebody was going to make $$$ off of those photos so why not her and her family (new daughter). There would be no way to stop a release once it was 'out there.' Also, just getting the photos out there would stop the tabloids from hinting at, bargaining for 'the last photos of ANS and her late son. And ANS's handlers could control the photos (no photo shopping). Her advisors (HK Stern) probably thought this was the best way to make the public side of the loss go away.

Hey, if this is her way of dealing with the loss of her son, who are we to judge her in this time of grief?
If she has a charitable purpose for the cash, why NOT make the tabs disgorge some of the profits they're making off the death of her son?
(Of course, if it goes right in her pocket, it's pretty sick.)
