Question #1 of the Day: Will the sun appear??
Question #2 of the Day: Will the Dems say anything remotely truthful and responsible??
Answer to question 1: Yes

To quote the Famous FReeper Raven on the Weekend....YIPPEE!!
Good morning and thanks for the atart, Molly!
#1: YES!

HA! I know....it was rhetorical, I guess....just wanted to check to see if you were paying attention! :-)
OKAY! I guess we're on the same page here..
Might as well add this to the new thread:
Good Morning!
Another beautiful day here, but that's going to change quickly. 2 strong cold fronts will be coming through this week. They are even projecting *S* for places in the upper pennisula of Michigan later in the coming week.
On the national front I see that the N Y Times is demanding the Pope to apologize to the muslims for comments he said about Mohammed. (It appears they can't handle the truth.)
How about the N Y Times apologize to America for putting Americans in danger for their public disclosure of sensitive intelligence?
I'm going back to bed.

The Pope's point ws the virtue of dialogue Daily Telegraph...and once again a worlwide spectacle for all to understand...if they're willing, and up to it...
A Message from AmericaThis is a spoof - like C.S. Lewis's Screwtape Letters - so be mindful..it's meant to prompt debate and thought..

DARN!!
I'll check in later...
Wasn't the Pope just QUOTING Mohammed??????
Hope you feel better soon!
(((((Dog)))))
LOL...
Exactly. Mohammed's message was convert or kill the infidels.
Get better soon, buddy! :^)
One guy who is a school superintendent sat down next to me and said "You know, what I remember from you from government class is that you were always so liberal." HA! I told him Carter had driven me over the edge and I voted for Reagan and have been a loyal Republican ever since! He said "I KNEW you were too smart to last as a liberal" We had a very nice chat about politics, and he and another friend of mine are in despair over will get the nomination. I told them to have confidence and remember that ANY Republican is better than a democrat.
Then a guy who has a home building business wanted to tell me how the global socialists led by George Bush were undermining this country, immigration, border, etc. This all seemed odd to me since he was also bragging about buying property in Panama, so I just laughed, said I was a big Bush fan, and walked away.
Most of the people were not political, though, and I had a great time remembering stuff we did in high school.
And I agree with you, IG...the informal party the night before is usually more fun. Nice evening so most of us were out on the patio.
Off to read Molly's links.
Good morning.
The Democrats don't have a passing acquaintance with the truth.
We had a great dinner at the new Thai restaurant last night and had some plum sake which was quite good. But potent!
Good morning, Molly and ALL you wonderful people.
(melodically) "Beeeautiful Dreamer......!"
:^D
Good morning everybody, thanks for the thread and ping Molly. And for the links.
Oh, and I agree with Pope Benedict. Fully, agree.
