McGreevey 'in love' from the first kiss ("We made passionate, whispering, masculine love”)

In his highly anticipated memoir, former Gov. James E. McGreevey writes of his deep love for the man who ended his political career, the destruction of his second marriage and the events that forced him into his stunning admission on national television that he is gay.
In "The Confession," the former governor also touches on New Jersey's sometimes seamy political landscape, where cash, cronyism and a handful of powerful men intersect.
But the 384-page book focuses mostly on McGreevey's secret life, from his frequent sexual encounters with men at highway rest stops to his infatuation with Golan Cipel, the Israeli national McGreevey plucked from obscurity and placed on the state payroll as his homeland security adviser.

Though electrified by Cipel from their first meeting in Israel, where McGreevey was on a trade mission in 2000, the former governor said the two did not have sexual rela tions until early December 2001, when Dina Matos McGreevey was in the hospital for the birth of the couple's daughter, Jacqueline.
As a State Police guard detail waited outside the then-governor elect's Woodbridge condominium, McGreevey took Cipel by the hand and led him upstairs.
"We undressed and he kissed me. It was the first time in my life that a kiss meant what it was supposed to mean -- it sent me through the roof," he writes. "I was like a man emerging from 44 years in a cave to taste pure air for the first time, feel direct sunlight on pallid skin, warmth where there had only ever been a bone-chilling numbness.
"I pulled him to the bed and we made love like I'd always dreamed: a boastful, passionate, whispering, masculine kind of love."

It's all about taking people's attention away from the corruption while he was governor. And people are taking the bait by focusing on his sexual exploits.

"to save taxpayers money"
But it was an intense and sometimes audacious relationship, the former governor writes. On one trip, McGreevey told his State Police detail he and Cipel would share a hotel room "to save taxpayers money." Their sexual encounters were frequent, with stolen mo ments at Cipel's apartment or at Drumthwacket, the governor's mansion in Princeton.

New Jersey was a corrupt sh!t-hole before he was governor, was a corrupt sh!t-hole while he was governor, and will be a corrupt sh!t-hole until the end of time. The state has had something like seven or eight different governors in the last six years.
Writing a book filled with this kind of sh!t to divert public attention away from your crimes is sort of like copping a plea to a string of serial killings to divert public attention away from your poor driving record.

Way too much information. This guy is a disgrace. Not because of his homosexuality, but because of his betrayal and now extreme selfishness in putting his adultery on public display...in gross detail.
To whom is his memoir supposed to appeal? I can't imagine any woman - married or single - would want to read it.

OH come now... they are just like the rest of us?
I mean don't we all go out and get laid while our wives are recovering from our own childs births?
Don't we all stop by truck stops and public parks in the middle of the night looking for anonymous sex?
Homosexuality is a mental disorder.
To: dead
What kind of sick **** writes about his perverted sexual encounters and admits that he was doing them while his wife was laid up in a hospital bed after giving birth to his child?
