Tonight's Sci-Fi Listing:
9/8 - Stargate Sg1 Company of Thieves: Cameron Mitchell must go undercover inside the deadly Lucian Alliance to prevent his teammates from becoming casualties of an Alliance civil war.
Last week's was ok...
10/9 - Stargate Atlantis Phantoms: Sheppard and Ronon are influenced by a mind-altering device created by the Wraith while on a mission to rescue a lost team.
Last week's was ok...
Thanks for the ping!
Last weeks SG-1 "Memento Mori" was pretty good.
"McKay and Mrs. Miller" on Atlantis was awesome almost until the end when it was only okay. The chemistry and conflict between Rodney (Meredith?) McKay and his sister was great.
I was expecting 'Rod' to find a way to ship at least one fully charged ZPM back to them. I knew they should have grabbed a couple of from the replicators when they had a chance.
Thank you for the ping KD and thank you, thank you for BSG. ;0)
Whatever happend to that list of locations with ZPM's that the alternate Dr. Weir, who went back in time, gave them before she died?
Pretty standard fare for the BG webisodes.
I wonder who he will blame though? He made it clear that he didn't like the Cylons, but the resistance may have created the situation his wife was killed as a result of.
That is true.. I wonder if he is a Cylon himself??
I thought last week's "Momento Mori" was better than okay - Claudia Black is doing a fantastic job, and I'm liking her character Vala better and better. The only little bitty downside for me is that it's like a whole, new show with Ben Browder and Claudia; I still miss RDA as the cranky O'Neill and his incessent back-and-forth with Daniel and Carter. As for SGA, any episode that features Rodney is a good one, as far as I'm concerned. He's a great character! Looking forward to tonight's episodes.
I think only on location panned out, but the people there insisted on only handing it over to the Ancients, not wannabes from Earth. They keep it hidden and Atlantis didn't take it by force.
Help me out here...
I was in our lunchroom today, and since several of my lunchtime companions were out of the office, I didn't have to stay on the news channels. I flipped it to Sci-Fi, which was showing a rerun of Stargate Atlantis (the one where Ronin plays runner again).
During a commercial, they showed the promo for this Friday's SG-1, and I swear I heard the phrase "season finale". I had thought they had 20 episodes slated for this season, and I'm sure this Friday would have been the 10th.
Do you know if they are cutting SG-1 off early? I know Sci-Fi isn't carrying it after this season, but...
Yeah....big "but".
Unless they find someone besides NBC (Sci-Fi) to buy the rest...SG-1 will die with a wimper.
That is, in fact, correct. With tomorrow's episode, they will have completed half the season, and will be going into hiatus until January, just as happened in each of the last two seasons.
Exactly why it is termed the "season finale" is a mystery to me, but they also do exactly the same with Stargate: Atlantis.
