The era of the free-masons.
Between 1937 and 1958, an amazing succession of publicly Masonic Supreme Court justices were appointed to the Supreme Court. Collectively, they radicalized American politics. Since their ascension, it can truly be said that every major socio-political change in America has been brought about by judicial, rather than legislative, means. They utterly dominated the Supreme Court during the Warren, Stone, and Vinson courts (1941-1969.) At times, as many as eight of the nine justice were Masonic.
The following is a listing of Masonic US Supreme Court justices appointed in the last 70 years. This is no conspiracy theory; all were very publicly Masonic. Allegations of covert Masonry (such as Ronald Reagan and Dwight Eisenhower) have been rejected for the purposes of this list.
Hugo Black (1937-1971)
S. F. Reed (1938-1957)
William Douglas (1939-1975)
Robert Jackson (1941-1954)
James Byrnes (1941-1942)
Wiley Rutledge (1943-1949)
Harold Burton (1945-1958)
Fred Vinson (1946-1953)
Tom C. Clark (1949-1967)
Sherman Minton (1949-1956)
Earl Warren (1953-1969)
John Marshall Harlan (1955-1971)
Potter Stewart (1958-1981)
Also, Thurgood Marshall (1968-1991) was a freemason.
Today, there are five (okay, four and a quarter) conservatives on the United States Supreme Court. Is it a coincidence that they are also the five members who cannot be freemasons?
Freemasons generally disdain Catholics, and Catholics may even incur excommunication by becoming Freemasons; all five are Catholic: Clarence Thomas, John Roberts, Antonin Scalia, Anthony Kennedy, and Sam Alito. (Ruth Bader Ginsburg is not likely a freemason, nor is there credible evidence linking the other liberals to masonry.)
Unlike Roosevelt, Truman, and Johnson, John Kennedy was also not masonic. His appointments, Abe Fortas (1962-1965), and Byron White (1962-1993) were the only non-radical-leftists for several years on the court. Nixon, a Quaker, was also non-Masonic; Burger, while still liberal, was decidedly more moderate than his colleagues. Rehnquist was decidedly conservative. Unfortunately, the Senate blocked further conservatives, resulting in the selection of Lewis Powell, Jr.
Gerald Ford was a Freemason, and his selection, John Paul Stevens, while not publicly Masonic, continued the radical policies of prior freemasons. Was Stevens simply covertly Masonic? Sources alleging he was are not reliable, but his ties are definite.

Freemasons generally disdain Catholics, and Catholics may even incur excommunication by becoming Freemasons; all five non-liberals are Catholic: conservatives Clarence Thomas, John Roberts, Antonin Scalia, Sam Alito, and moderate Anthony Kennedy. (Clarence Thomas was not Catholic when he was appointed, but was Catholic previously and is currently Catholic.) All four solidly conservative justices have been linked to an anti-Masonic, Catholic group.
When you can explain away the death and oppression in Mexico at the hands of Masonic leaders there, get back to me.
I have no such intention of doing either.
It's a re-hash of the accusations of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, and equally nonsensical.
Freemasonry is a fraternity.
That's it.
Are you certain about Clarence Thomas being a Catholic?
Since this is general chat, I guess we can say, "Ah, Geez, not this sh** again".
Don't forget John Wayne, the founders of Baylor Baptist University, Mozart, about half the Apollo astronauts, about half the men who earned the Medal of Honor, the founder of the Marines, the founder of the Boy Scouts, the priest who penned the Pledge of allegence, almost everyone who died in the Alamo (including Davey Crocket and William B. Travis), Sam Houston, and basically all the founders of the United States.
Obviously an evil lot, them.
Actually, it stands for geometry and the God of Abraham.
Reason and Faith being the heart of all good men.
"I don't believe you."
I think he was asked to join the Rotarians and their requirment to kill his parents and drink their blood scared him off.
"The anti-Masonic bunch on FR, are feeling their oats, for some weird reason."
Medications not balanced at their looney-bin.
(In reality, I think we have black-balled losers on our hands.)
"knights' influence on the development of Switzerland was a freemason"
Well, the fact that the KT were the original secret bankers (for safety of pilgrims to the Holy Land) and the KT uniform was a white cloth with a red cross (now the Swiss flag) would be a tip off, too.
That and these really pissed-off mounted knights that came out of nowhere to defeat the French Fair King who decided to expand to a neighboring mountain area, organizing mere farmers in "modern" military formations was mighty suspicious.
And all the statues to the KT all over Switzerland, stating they founded the country, helps, too.
:)
"Did They Invent MASON Jars."
Yes, that's where they store the unbaptized childrens' blood for use in Passover matzos.
Oh, no, wait.
That's the NEXT Chapter of the Protocols Of the Elders of Zion, the one about Joooosss.
So hard to keep these nutjob conspiracy theories straight.
----- Scratch an anti-mason and you find an anti-Semite ----
But, but Laura's dad was a freemason!
And Laura was EASTERN STAR!!!!
Gasp!
(Laura came to our lodge #623 and presented her father's Bible to us not long ago. Mr. Welch was a Past Grand Master of our lodge and a good man.)
"The secret to building those big Gothic churches was kept by the Mason's Guild & that cost the good Church father's extra cha ching."
Yep.
The eastern star is a reference to Christ, actually.
Matthew 2:2 (New International Version)
2and asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east[a] and have come to worship him."
When you see a man driving a vehicle with a small bumpersticker that says "2B1ASK1", the rest of us know what that means.
As a Mason for over 35 years, I have never attended any meeting or ceremony where Lucifer was mentioned or in any way raised to any level of respect. Lucifer has not been a part of any of the lodges that I have attended.
Ref#52
All of what you posted plus the possibility that because of their history, they were rejected for membership. Masons do not accept anyone who has tainted or criminal history.
Just remember that when the term 'cult' is used nowadays, it tends to be in a derogotory manner.
And it gets thown at Mason alot.
Wise men still seek Him.
That they do...and also even some dumb ones, like me.
