Just did a Google on Ali Jaber-Ansari... could be a coincidence that someone by the same name is a top blackbelt karate expert and that he "kicked" the wife in the chest... a karate kick?

Ali the Blackbelt needs a one-way ticket back to his sand dune of origin. There is no way that the neighbors will get any justice out of this...it only took one idiot juror to save that creepy POS, Mousassi. I really don't CAIR about the details, I just want those people to get back on the other side of the world, and take our homegrown dhimmis with them.

Not true at all. Apparently his wife was attacked earlier in the day by the woman next door and he just lost it. Stupid move. Oh, and he's not a Muslim like all of these posts assume. He was a conservative Christian, converted years ago. I guess it's pretty easy to just assume he's some Muslim who beats his wife, but get your facts straight people. I am in no way defending what he did. It was completely insane. He should have called the authorities instead.That's what any sane person would have done, Christian or Muslim.

Rumor has it that he is a very nice person as well. He is not a Muslim and is a very popular person, very well liked. I should not have called him a clown since I do not know him. People that know him say he is a very nice person but someone that over reacted to a bad situation. That is just the rumor.

I stumbled across this thread just now after learning about what happened with Ali. I knew Ali for many years. I went to grade school through high school with him. So I've had a lot of experience with him.

And he really was a pleasant, levelheaded guy. I remember when he got his black belt. He was never cocky about it. In fact, I believed his martial arts taught him restraint (which is what confuses me about this incident.) I never felt threatened by him. He always had a great sense of humor, and he was a gentleman. He joked around so much that we nicknamed him Ali "Jabber" for all the jabbering he did. I knew his wife too, and she was just as nice. They were both the typical all-American conservative Christians.

I'm almost thru med school now, and I've studied several med psych cases. Ali, from my personal experience with him, is no sociopath as this article depicts. People who do senseless violence like this don't have the normal adolescences that I saw him have. I think there is a lot we're not being told in this article. After all, this article is pretty vague.

I won't speculate as to what would drive him to do this. And I am not trying to defend his actions, whatever they were. After reading this thread I realized we need to see more sides of this issue, or any issue, before we jump to conclusions.

And one more comment. I wish I hadn't read the name of his wife in this thread. I think that info should be private. Unless she wanted it posted.

Point well taken regarding Ali's wife name. Although it is a matter of public record. Her name is a very popular Christian name. I only said nice things so hopefully that point is remembered. I don’t take back the Angel comment. It’s true, just ask anyone that has meet her.

They are both very well liked here in Jacksonville, FL. from what I hear.Your comments about both of them being very nice are also said here locally as well. In fact they both come form GREAT FAMILIES FROM WHAT I KNOW. There has to be more to this story than meets they eye. Good people just don't lose it and go crazy very often.

It has been said that evil prevails when good people do nothing. I would recommend that you and your friends come to his aid as character witnesses. He may need it if any of this story is true. Character witness's come in real handy when someone is trying to lie about someone. After all a portion of the story may be true and then a few great big lies could have been added. If these people are telling lies about the gun it could destroy his life if those that know him to not do something to help him out!!!!!!!!!
