How sweet ;~]
Well, we'd love to have you if you'd like!
Yeah, supposedly every six months. It wasn't exactly a real detailed thing. Didn't look at much inside, just walked around real fast, checked the plumbing for leaks. Took pictures of the outside to send to the owner. Asked if there were any problems to attend to.
I'm glad I got the holes filled, and the yard cleaned up, mostly.
I explained the change in, uh, situation, but also told him that I was planning to stay at least through the term of the lease. I like it here. But he said they'd have no trouble renting it out again if I wanted to move to a smaller place, and that he'd watch for smaller places that might come along.
All in all, it was a pretty good thing. They do seem to take pretty good care of the owner's interest, and mine. So... there's that.
Good. It's a cool place, but it's good they'd be flexible if you wanted to move.
I think it was meant better than it sounded. ;-)
Still have to figure out the dog, is the only thing. I guess he'd be OK outside for one evening...wouldn't stay late.
I worry too much.
You should get him a crate. Then he could be inside. Or even ride up with you for the trip, but be secure.
Bah, that's not an invite! I'd be embarrassed to make an offer like that. Sheesh!
Heh, that was pretty good!!
Well...I was kind of hinting at an invitation...which I guess is just rude. So...my fault, really.
I want my Neo back. Have I mentioned that? Grr...really miss the little guy, despite its limitations.
Awww... start a savings fund and get him back! You worked well with that little guy.
You know what, if my husband's sister was in the neighboehood, and hundreds of miles from any other family, I'd be ashamed if she spent holidays alone. There's no "rude" about it, it's family. Grr. Now I'm bugged for you.
Well...it'd be different if they were hosting.
Did I mention the gal I shared a table with at the write-in had a Neo? And she didn't even really want to talk about it. Strange gal, really...don't think she cracked a smile the whole evening.
I really wanted to club her over the head with it, say to the other writers "See, one of the GREAT things about the Neo is the durability!" and then run off into the night.
This is strangely fascinating. It's the theme music, I think.
Sounds like cheesy 60's Game Show music. What I want to know though, is where can I get me one of them blenders?
And you said ~she~ was the strange one :~) ~chuckling~
Good morning!
Rosie, if you want to come to Thanksgiving, you'd be welcome. It'll just be us, and perhaps Dona's kids, I think. ... and we're eating early, like two, we won't be late, we'll need to get back for the horses anyhow.
Morning, brisky out there..sip..holiday peppermint... hmm...sip...painting and lawn vacuuming later...sip..
Well...it seems like a perfectly logical way of rescuing a Neo to me...
You didn't mention taking the Neo with you when you run though.
Morning! Making cinnamon rolls here.
Well...that's what I meant.
