Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Mawwage is what bwings us togethew today!

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

Yeah, I heard about it in the traffic reports. Glad I didn't have to deal with it!

Not as much wind blowing through the door now. Guess I shouldn't be such a cheapskate and just have a new door installed.

OK. Mama braggin time!!

We just talked to Paul and he passed the Bar Exam for MA!! We're so proud, and he is relieved! He's excited too, because he'll now be able to handle cases on his own, and correspond with folks writing 'Attorney' after his name.

He'll have a long weekend for Thanksgiving so he's gonna drive over and help SirKit out with some of the jobs on the house.

It is extremely windy here!! I love it.

I do need to take the flag off the front of the house though, it's gonna get beat up!

When we were digging through an old Beetle, we lifted up an old piece of carpeting and underneath was a mouse nest, complete with mama and a bunch of little baby mice. We called the boys over and they got to see them. It was kinda neat.

The entire salvage yard was in the woods! It was actually a neat place, but just full of old cars.

That's great news, you got your own 'in-house' counsel.

Oh, and since SirKit is planning to do some individual Statistical and Mathematical research, and our #2 son is bound and determined to write his own computer language, having a Patent Lawyer in the family will be MOST handy!

Nah, none of them are interested in medicine. Joseph is fascinated by bio-chemistry, but also by physics and engineering. Who knows what he'll end up doing?
