Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Mawwage is what bwings us togethew today!

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

Thanks. I'd much rather find a job now than in two months when I'm out of work.

Gosh, it's wet out there. Ungh.

I really don't like driving on the interstate in this stuff. Mostly because of morons who stick only about a foot back from my bumper.

Saw a bumper sticker yesterday that said "Hey, hemorrhoid! Get off my a__!"

I kin identify with that sentiment.

I don't think you should have that sticker on your van when you go to church. ;~)

Strangely enough...that's where I saw it.

Looking around when I walked in, I kinda had to wonder who it belonged to...

This was the church in Lacey...kinda don't think the other crowd would go there. ;-)

Just wrote you into my story as the really cheesy main character of an amazingly bad series of pulp vampire novels.

hehehe
Really bag excerpt warning:
Cor Von Stormhan the Count of Paine stared undauntedly at the circle of undead surrounding him. The lifeless body of his beloved Angela slipped from his grasp and settled softly to the floor. The last Hunter of the Dead stood slowly, his long black coat slipping open to reveal an arsenal of weapons. “Your souls will be tasty.” The lead vampire ghoul rasped. The Count of Paine drew his 64 caliber revolver Vengeance. “How about an appetizer first?” *Boom*! The head of the twisted ancient horror exploded in a cloud of rancid brains. Cor drew Vengance’s twin, Retribution. “You scum looks like you could use a hot meal.” He leveled the hang cannons on the horde. “Dinner is served.”
