Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Mawwage is what bwings us togethew today!

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

BTW, you mentioned your cat's dietary "choice" this weekend, and it reminded me of something. Apparently Sam at the trash bag out of the bathroom trash the other day.

Wife had emptied it and put in a new bag. When she came back the trash can was knocked over and there was just a small piece of plastic on the floor.

He seems to be okay, and I'm not lookin' for evidence.

Logan once ate a whole diaper (I really wanted to shoot him in disgust)

When he passed it, the little pieces still had little teddy bears printed on them :~)

I don't know how long it takes for a diaper to biodegrade, but the digestive system of a labrador had practically no impact. :~)

I used a clunker rental... they asked how I could clean their clocks suh bad, seein' as they had far superior firepower... I told 'em they didn't know how tuh use it...

I know I've threatened before, but we're probably going to pass through Richmond on our way back to MA. We'd love to meet y'all for breakfast or coffee or something, depending on the time of day. I brought the Muzzy el Grande Videotapes with us so we can give them to you. I still have your cell phone, so I'll give you a call to let you know when we'll be there. It will be around the 27th or 28th.

I hate it when I don't feel like doing anything, but feel guilty about doing nothing.

Age and treachery trumps youth and inexperience, everytime.

I figure by the time we're done training them up we'll be ready to handle babies. Same general principles, a little higher stakes with the babies.

Oookay...

There's someone on Craigslist selling a World of Warcraft character of a certain level. They want $150 for it.

That's just...bizarre.
