You rock, 2J! Yeah, I don't like it when folks try to throw their weight around like that to get special treatment, especially when they are putting so many other people out.
So, I'm in this meeting today.
About half way through I emailed a co-worker and offered her $500 to pull the fire alarm...

Well, we're going on a trail ride this afternoon.... probably the last one of the season... back later.
Must be a real drool inducing meeting!
Why the last one? There's a good 2-3 months afore the weather gets bad...
Sigh.
They love me. I... do not reciprocate. I just hate the whole "bean counter" atmosphere and the projects I'm doing are so boring.
But the money is nice. Got my first paycheck. Yay!
We're also going to try to get him involved with the FIRST Robotics team at Gulfdport High School. He was on the team at Shrewsbury High in the 8th grade, but he was so low on the totem pole that he didn't really do a whole lot. We're hoping he'll be able to do more in Gpt.

There is always that. I have to remind myself sometimes that I like having a roof over my head. ;)
Ungh...my boss was out sick for a few days earlier this week, but I'd hoped I'd missed it. But I've been feeling shivery all afternoon.
Sure enough, I've got a fever. Yay.
Hope I didn't give it to anyone else.
Mmm...roof.
And high speed internet. And a dog. And cats. And dark chocolate. Not necessarily in that order.
Who could ask for anything more?
There might be a few more things for the list, but it's a good start.
