Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Mawwage is what bwings us togethew today!

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

Shudder. That was a truly horrific experience.

Here, it was in, check your papers, see the clerk, get a picture, card gets printed, you're out. It took me a whole five minutes longer because I was coming in from out of state and changing my name. They got me registered to vote and out - and the fee was pretty low too. Definitely the best DOT I've dealt with. Out of all three, big sample size.

Yeah - I could do without the hat. The gloves dress it up though.

And afterwards, it could converted to a slipcover or something :~)

And stuff, yup. I think it was all official before, now the governemnt knows about it and I can prove it.

Odd... the form asked my weight but the card doesn't have that listed.

So far WA has been my easiest experience. And for the car side of things...you don't even have to go to a gubmint office. Registered the car at the Albertson's near where I work. Pretty nifty.

Well, as far as I'm concerned, a company can hire whoever they want and if one of their conditions for employment is knowing whether I had poppy seeds for breakfast it's their right to ask. And mine to decide whether to work for them or not.

Since I don't eat poppy seed bagels, I'd rather have the job and the invasion of privacy than take a stand and be unemplyed.

Really? Mine does. It is probably encoded on the back in the magnetic or optical parts.

I kind of like the hat thingie. Not so much as a wedding hat but I wouldn't like that as a wedding dress anyway.

Next time Talon and I get married I think we will dress up as anime characters. That's when we go to Vegas and do the Elvis thing of course.

Probably. Maybe it is the 'vanity license'. The picture's not too bad but it makes it look as though my hair is much shorter because I had the long pieces pulled back.

Newer tests don't care about poppy seeds. I know because I ate some once or twice the morning before a test and still passed.

I'm not saying they don't have the right to test, just that I don't understand why they'd require it for a cubicle-monkey... and that I don't want to work for "those types".

Well folks, I've got some rather disappointing news to report.

The girls and I will be moving back to Miami in two weeks.

My mother is facing some serious financial difficulties and the girls are really missing their family, so I need to go back.

It's a heartbreaking turn of events and both Ramius and I are devastated over this decision. But what must be done, must be done.

Thanks so much for all of your support and encouragement during this whole thing. It's a class-A bummer ending to such a happy and hopeful story.

Love ya lots,
Ruthy

Vanity tags say whatever you want and vanity license does not say what you don't want?
There goes checking the license. I am down to bugging the scale or breaking into the Dr's office. ;-D

I'll take lots of pictures!

I just got done with finding all the maps I need and jotting down directions.

Going to the store now! It's going to be a very busy day what with getting the tires and such...we'll check in when we can!
