Last year I watched the Phins fumble the ball like crazy and really screw around in the first half. Then in the second half they came back and were marching down the field only to fumble again with a few minutes left.
But it was a still a great game to watch.
And the parties outside Ralph Wilson Stadium were awesome.
That's one bad thing about the Superdome. There's no real tailgaiting because the parking is tiered and you can't really light up a grill without setting off the smoke detectors and sprinklers.
LSU, on the other hand, is always a blast, especially if kickoff is in the evening after the sun sets. Saturday Night in Tiger Stadium: there is no substitute. I went to an LSU-Alabama game about 13-14 years ago, and it started in the afternoon. At first, the crowd was subdued, but as the sun began to set, the crowd just started getting rowdier. By the fourth quarter, the sun had set, and it was a mad house.
how are they doing 2 MNF games both on ESPN?
Time zones. One game starts in the east coast at 7 PM Eastern.
The other starts on the west coast at 7:15 PM Pacific. If the first game isn't over yet, they'll flip one of the games to ESPN 2 until it is.

NBC blows!!!
Steelers by 6.
T-minus 15 minutes and counting.
If the Steelers bring the same officiating crew they brought to the Super Bowl, they'll win. Otherwise...
Intelligent Sea Mammals 24, Dying Rustbelt Denizens 13.
NBC blows!!!
Those of us who follow NA$¢AR could've told you that. Of course, the NFL treating this like the Super Bowl doesn't help any; opening day belongs at noon (Central) Sunday.
Amen to that. The sooner they stop with this business that the NFL is supposed to be an MTV Awards show, the sooner I'll stop muting everything before the kickoff.
agreed............
At least that totally fine/hot Martina McBride is coming up soon to sing the Anthem.
You know the rules (especially if you have a video capture card ;-)
I don't...... I'm computer illiterate.
