For those of you gambling (legally), I do have my against-the-line picks for this week, along with a few inane comments, up at my blog. Short version (for those that want to go the other way :-) -

Miami (+1) at Pittsburgh
Denver (-4) @ St. Louis
NY Jets @ Tennessee (-2.5)
Atlanta @ Carolina (-5)
Cincinnati (+1.5) @ Kansas City
Seattle (-6.5) @ Detroit
Philadelphia (-6) @ Houston
Baltimore @ Tampa Bay (-3; though I'd put more on the under 34)
New Orleans @ Cleveland (-3)
Buffalo (+9.5) @ New England (along with the over 41)
Chicago (-4) @ Green Bay (yes, I bet with my head, not my heart)
San Francisco (+7.5) @ Arizona
Dallas (+2) @ Jacksonville
Indianapolis (-3.5) @ NY Giants
Minnesota @ Washington (-4.5)
San Diego (-3) @ Oakland

I'm surprised that San Diego is favored by 3 going into Oakland with a quarterback who has never started an NFL game. That tells me the Raiders are not highly regarded at this time...lol. I'm not even sure who is playing quarterback for the Raiders this year. Is it still Collins? He's inconsistent but capable of flashes of brilliance. If SD can run the ball well and play strong defense, then Rivers should play well enough to win.
