I could see why that was truly memorable.

Last year I watched the Phins fumble the ball like crazy and really screw around in the first half. Then in the second half they came back and were marching down the field only to fumble again with a few minutes left.

But it was a still a great game to watch.

And the parties outside Ralph Wilson Stadium were awesome.

That's one bad thing about the Superdome. There's no real tailgaiting because the parking is tiered and you can't really light up a grill without setting off the smoke detectors and sprinklers.

LSU, on the other hand, is always a blast, especially if kickoff is in the evening after the sun sets. Saturday Night in Tiger Stadium: there is no substitute. I went to an LSU-Alabama game about 13-14 years ago, and it started in the afternoon. At first, the crowd was subdued, but as the sun began to set, the crowd just started getting rowdier. By the fourth quarter, the sun had set, and it was a mad house.
