"Omed Aziz, who lost both his eyes in a bomb blast
and is also deaf, was caught behind the wheel with a friend sitting in the passenger seat giving him instructions.."

HOW? I think they do hand to hand pressure "symbols". My question is why? If he felt he had to tool around just for the experience why didn't his friend take him to an empty field?

Timothy Gascoyne, defending, said Aziz, who did not give evidence, should be cleared because "the question is not whether his driving was dangerous, but whether being blind makes it dangerous". He said: "If my client hadn't been blind he wouldn't have been arrested for dangerous driving, so it doesn't fall far below what is expected from a careful and competent driver."
I read this and I've gone mute.

I was just driving behind a car last week with the vanity license plate "DEAF". He was weaving all over the place. As I got closer, I saw the reason for the weaving. He was carrying on a spirited conversation in sign language (both hands) with his passenger. Not watching the road or keeping a hand on the wheel. A truly dangerous dumbass.
