Two days into the JonBenet Ramsey/John Karr media deluge, a mid-fortyish male in line next to me at a food shop groaned at the day's newspaper headlines. "Now," muttered this stranger--though he wore a baseball cap with bill turned backward, which suggested a few things about him one could know right off--"now we're not going to hear about anything but this damned story for the next six weeks."
I sympathized, forbearing to tell him that it would have plenty of competition, what with the networks set to embark on round-the-clock wallowing in the Katrina anniversary.

Karr just figured out a way to get a free ride back to the US. He's still sick in the mind, tho...........
"The only thing worse than the imbecilic coverage in the MSM of this case is the morons who pick at the carcass of a tragedy making bloodsport out of guessing things they couldn't possibly know." Thank you!!!!
Oh for Heaven's sake! Both the phrase and the bonus amount could have been known by anybody close to the family!
"They reacted by contacting their attorney and then moving the body (in that order)." Where did you get that information? I recall that he scooped her up immediately, carried her upstairs and laid her by the Christmas tree.
Not true. The Ramseys were asked to submit to a polygraph exam by the Boulder police deppartment. On January 22, 1997 upon advice from their attorneys, John and Patsy Ramsey refused to submit to any polygraph tests. They never subsequently submitted to any polygraph examminations.
Lou Smit was hired by the DA or the police dept. to help investigate the crime.
He admits he thought the Ramseys did it when he first came on the case.
He ended up resigning because the police were only focused on the parents.
Patsy denied she fed her pineapple before she went to bed. Why would she lie? What would that prove?
Oh? Name one that has claimed to have known what John Ramsey's bonus was.....you can't.
Yes I heard about the wild orgies they were having and selling Jon Benet to older men. Too bad you weren't on the case I am sure it would have been cracked by now.
Oh? And who administered the polygraph and where and when did this exam take place???
"They never subsequently submitted to any polygraph examminations." A href="http://www.thedailycamera.com/extra/ramsey/2000/25arams.html">Well, you are free to question the reliability of the tests, but they certainly have submitted to polygraph examinations.</a>
Maybe the fact that there were no footprint in the snow. Did the "intruder" levitate themselves across the yard?
I suppose it's possible, after all Vince Foster's corpse "levitated" itself across a muddy park without getting a speck of mud on the bottom of his shoes.
Mama did it!
"Oh? Name one that has claimed to have known what John Ramsey's bonus was.....you can't." LOL! If I were the one who killed JonBenet I wouldn't volunteer that I knew his bonus! It could have been a disgruntled employee. Heck, how many times has the press made news of bonuses given to greedy corporate executives. If it was part of a stockholder thing, (and I don't know that it was) it might have even been public record.
"sick in mind" is the proper usage
Another myth!
The photos from outside of the house that were taken that day show no snow by the house. Whatever snow there was had melted!
Edward Gelb and Cleve Backster.
About 2 years after their daughter died.
I told every one that it was all BS!
