He ended up resigning because the police were only focused on the parents.
Patsy denied she fed her pineapple before she went to bed. Why would she lie? What would that prove?

I don't have a clue why Patsy lied. She or Burke fed JB pineapple. Unless, we're to believe that a pedo kidnapper killer intruder fed her......
That she was awake, which they said she wasn't.
