Schnitt just announced the breaking news. The DNA for JM Karr is NOT a match for Jon Benet evidence.
It sounds like he is already out and on the way to a playground near you!
I think CA "could" do that, but apparently, they're not in Boulder to greet him. Think he'll turn himself in?
Thanks for bringing me up to speed. None of it made sense to me, so your theory is certainly possible. A circus it is!
LOL -- I think I'll go nap or walk the dog.
How how you and yours?
I repeat..when a reporter shoved the mic in his face in Thailand and asked "Are you an innocent man"..he answered "NO"..(What were we suppose to think? Is there another meaning to the word "no"?
He also said it would "take hours" to explain how he did it. WE HEARD HIM!
He masterminded this confusion. The sick b#astard..

Wonderful.
Now I'm REALLY glad my Wife doesn't work.
(I honestly don't think he'll survive on the streets long after this, though)
Bottom line is Boulder has no papers to keep him on and the time to charge him or release him has expired.
One of the many things Mary Lacy screwed up was not letting Karr be rendered to Sonoma from LA while she processed his DNA.
Hopefully this creep isn't on the street.

John Mark Karr freed in JonBenet case
By JON SARCHE, Associated Press Writer 9 minutes ago
BOULDER, Colo. - Prosecutors abruptly dropped their case Monday against John Mark Karr in the slaying of JonBenet Ramsey, saying DNA tests failed to put him at the scene despite his repeated insistence he killed the 6-year-old beauty queen.

The move came just a week and a half after the 41-year-old schoolteacher was arrested in Thailand and put on a plane to the U.S. in what was regarded as a remarkable break in the decade-old murder mystery that had cast suspicion on JonBenet's parents.
District Attorney Mary Lacy said Karr emerged as a suspect in April after he began exchanging e-mails with a Colorado professor in which he admitted responsibility for the slaying.
According to court papers, Karr told the professor he accidentally killed JonBenet during sex and that he tasted her blood after he injured her vaginally. But officials at the Denver crime lab conducted DNA tests last Friday and failed to connect Karr to the crime.
"This information is critical because ... if Mr. Karr's account of his sexual involvement with the victim were accurate, it would have been highly likely that his saliva would have been mixed with the blood in the underwear," Lacy said in court papers.
Defense attorney Seth Temin expressed outrage that Karr was even arrested.
"We're deeply distressed by the fact that they took this man and dragged him here from Bangkok, Thailand, with no forensic evidence confirming the allegations against him and no independent factors leading to a presumption he did anything wrong," Temin said.
It's a misdemeanor with less than a year and he's already served 6 months of it, so the most he'll get is 6 months, but they always reduce that in CA.
He'll be out before the Ramsey house sells again.
There is an entrance to the Boulder jail through a garage the media has been kept away from.
She said it long, long after she felt it. He didn't know that. "Oh, let me put my dead daughter down on the floor - that lady cop is giving me the evil eye."
Most of us tuned this crap off a long time ago and did not keep up with those enlightening new details. And most people don't sit and read thru post after post. They read the article and post their thoughts.
I'm not sure what "misapprehension" means, unless you mean misperception.
Oh! That's *moi*!
Somehow all JMK's obession with the JBR case reminds me of Truman Capote and his book "In Cold Blood". Capote was totally obsessed with the murders and even attended the hanging of one of the perps. He chickened out at the second perp's hanging. There was no way that Capote could have confessed to the murders because the killers were caught quickly.
Can they ship him back to California to face those charges?

Just announced by Boulder Police, Karr will be sent back to Ca.
Child pornography is a misdemeanor?
Well, it *was* late November in Dallas. It *coulda* happened.
Boulder now reports they've been flashed by Sonoma and they will hold him in the Boulder jail pending filing of extradition papers by California.
