Schnitt just announced the breaking news. The DNA for JM Karr is NOT a match for Jon Benet evidence.
not definitive, that fact has always been in doubt.
True, but he managed to get a free ticket back to the States.
Also he'll have rights to the book and movie which will come along soon.

no charges will be filed. Karr's public defender on MSNBC now.
Even if it kept him out of prison there, he can still be extradited back to Thailand.
Since when?
What would he be extradited for?
That's what the PASTE function is for! :-)
It looks as though there weren't any charges in Thailand (after all, it's not a big taboo there). He was arrested for the U.S. charges on the second day of his new school, after being fired from Bangkok Christian Academy (all boy school) for being too strict (first and second graders were not staying at their desks and he thought it was time they did, which didn't work for the mommies, who sound like some American mommies we've heard of).
OK, I will.

Golly. Does this mean that the D.A. will remove the restriction from her investigator that he is only to look at intruder theories?
I don't think he wanted to get out of Thailand. Why would he? He had just landed a teaching job, was getting prepped for a sex change, and was living his perverted lifestyle in a country that would let him do so without a blink.
I think one of two things are the case here.
First, he was involved with her murder and he got caught.
Second, he believes he was involved in her murder and he thinks he got caught.
Puhleeze! Nasty Grace? Ick. You know better than that!
Since innocent parents tend to be more interested in grieving and helping find the killer.
Yeah, I knew when he said he was at the little 12/23 party in Boulder and his brother worked for John Ramsey "for a long time." What a freakazoid!
MSNBC has the best coverage of this right now by far.
Except Shep is a bit more fem.
It was just a misdemeanor and a year or less time.
