The commentator probably was reading the FR tread cause I suggested that two or three days before he aired his speculation. Little slow there.
We don't sleep in Holiday Inn, We don't sleep on FR! ;^)
Now if they'd just look into my second theory re: his "car dealership"! OTOH that would take a bit of work on their part.

I think we are on the same page. I have been on juries where everyone was ready to convict and go home on little more than gut feeling. Sorry folks, I don't work that way. Heaven forbid I ever sit before a jury of my peers, I pray they won't convict me based on gut feeling.
What I find interesting is that the simple fact that we aren't convinced either way makes us the enemy to anyone that thinks the perp was not a Ramsey.

The commentator is Craig Silverman and I first heard the envelope speculation from him last week, although I can't remember which day. It was before Friday when I first heard him pitch it. He adds it is shear speculation on his part based on his disbelief that any competent DA would arrest Karr based on nothing more than his Bangkok "confession" and the Tracey e-mails.
But then, this is Boulder. Most people don't understand how truly weird the place is.

I will post this over here...
Blood blisters are a type of blister that is filled with blood rather than the fluid commonly associated with blisters. Blood blisters are caused by a rupture of the blood vessels underneath the skins surface. This rupture is usually caused by some form of trauma, such as pinching.
Like all forms of blisters, blood blisters form on the upper layer of the skin. They are the bodys natural response to pressure or injury. What differentiates blood blisters from other blisters is the fact that the trauma caused the blood vessels to rupture.
(in my opinion "hickey's" are considered a mild form of blood blisters, they draw the blood up to the surface of the skin. Dry Friction and pinching of the skin can cause blood blisters in private part areas. Also human bites and pinch bites that do not break the skin will cause blood blisters and sometimes bruising.)

I happen to think your car moving theory is as valid as any I have seen. If the authorities are worth their salt, they are looking into every possible way to place JMK in Boulder on 12 25 1996, including that one.
If you are correct, we'll have these posts to prove you were way ahead of the curve! :)

I heard on Fox & Friends this morning a commentator mention the 'letters from the 13 year old wife' and that they haven't been authenticated as of yet. I knew that they mentioned them (the letters) in an interview with her and her parents, but were they able to produce them? I am speaking of the letters to his first wife where he signed them "SBTC". The commentator said he was convinced this guy DIDN'T do it until those letters came into play. Now he's leaning more toward him being guilty.
I'm still out on whether he did or didn't.

I just keep adding things up. It would be nice to have insiders information but sometimes better to be independent. Between the ransom note and the yearbook and what Karr has said, I'd say they have the right guy.
Funny, you really need the yearbook to put some teeth in it. It just tell so much about a person who hasn't changed in twenty years. I'd say bro and dad are lying through their teeth.
In Thailand, Karr described the murder as a "blur". He uses "blurred" in his yearbook. It is a reference to "crying" and "bad things happening".
He also said that: telling about the "accident" (crime) would take hours. It was complicated. The note said that the pickup and delivery would be complicated, too.
Well, the pick up and delivery wasn't complicated. There was none.
And it wasn't an accident. It was a brief encounter with a tiny helpless girl. What kind of Victory could that be??

Yes, I'm in your garden and digging your herb :-)
Seriously, I think that people have pre-conceived notions about the innocence of the Ramseys and it's clouding their faculties. You can ask hard questions about the Ramseys involvement w/o accusing them. Some posters have even outright stated that crime scene evidence has no bearing at all on JMK's involvement. I'll let the reader be the judge on that, but I find that hard to understand. Yes, this forum is about JMK's possible involvement, but we can't understand that w/o looking at the evidence of the crime itself!
But I CAN understand that people don't WANT to believe that immediate family could do something like this. I find some of the gory details hard to WRITE about and I didn't even KNOW the child. Imagine! The same phenomenon of disbelief occured with Lizzie Borden a long, long time ago.
To: Sacajaweau
I agree, but I would add that if JMK is delusional or otherwise mentally ill, I won't second-guess his inaccuracies b/c it could be the result of that. OTOH, you're right; common sense says it doesn't fit. Without major physical evidence contradicting his OWN statements, he can't be the man.
To: colorado tanker
Yeah I heard SIlverman, But since I'd already sent the idea to several TV personalities, I wondered which one shared the idea with him. OTOH he could be on this thread? Or he could have read my mind or gotten it telepathically! %^)

Once again, thanks for all your effort with these threads.

Correction; sorry,
I'm not certain they've got their guy but I agree that your points do make sense.
To: hoosiermama
Well, Silverman plays the liberal role in the Caplis/Silverman show, so you'd never get him to admit it if he lurks here!
To: Rte66
WOW --- thanks. Just checking in.
Court appearance for Karr today, right?

You've got it backwards. There were a very few of us brave souls who DIDN'T think it was the Ramseys and we were constantly posted to with absolute iron-clad insistence that the Ramsey as perp point of view was the only one worth a flip. If you don't know that, you haven't read the thread.
Please don't accuse us outnumbered and outgunned ones of making you some kind of victim.

And it *was* brave. That's a genuine compliment.
To: txrangerette
WHOA. I don't think I claimed to be any sort of victim. I believe I used the word enemy. Perhaps adversary would have been a better choice, but neither implies victimhood in my mind.
I have read the entire thread. I do not believe that *I* have insisted that the Ramseys were guilty to anyone.

I said this on the previous thread:
IMO, but what's the point of endlessly discussing the parents when it is JMK that is the current focus? I am interested in following the current investigation, not the historical witch hunt on the parents, that culminated in nothing a grand jury would even act on.
The parents as perps angle was exhausted years ago. Currently there is a new suspect and I am not in the least interested in rehashing what has been rehashed a million times before to no purpose.
I'm interested in what information is known about the current suspect and what publicly known evidence fits with this arrest.
