DNA swiped from John Mark Karr after his arrest last week in connection with the JonBenet Ramsey murder might be irrelevant, in part because "something got screwed up" when samples were taken from the crime scene in 1996, a former investigator on the case said.

I think he was the killer. I also think that JBR's father hatched up the plot.
Tinfoil hat time:
JNR's mother took little Joan to all these pageants. The father got jealous of the little tyke taking all of mommy's time and cooked up a murder so he could get his wife back. The wife knew nothing of this.
He knew Karr, knew that he was a kiddy toucher, got in touch with him, and paid him off with his bonus check, threatening to go to the cops about Karrs kiddy touching if he didn't go along with the plot. (Ransom note with exact dollar amount of bonus)
Mom was gone from the house, Karr came in, killed the kid and took off. Dad was probably upstairs watching TV.
Karr, as to not wanting to implicate the father, when caught, made up this story. The story is false, therefore Karr will not be convicted of anything other than being a lunatic seeking attention. Since there is no evidence, Karr will be let go, the father not implicated and the Jon Benet Ramsey case will be forever gone.

I agree with you regarding the nut case Karr. But by the bungling of this case we may never know who did it! Geez, they can't even swab DNA with a uncontaminated swab?

If the DNA matches his then it didn't come from the factory.
To: EQAndyBuzz
Karr's latest version (FoxNews) is that he was in the house all evening, and was even hiding in the house when the Ramsey's came in that night.

"...DNA at the scene (panties) might have actually originated from the manufacturer/factory."
I'm not sure I want to know what this might mean. This case keeps getting more bizarre.

South Park creators Parker and Stone met at the University of Colorado (Boulder).
If anyone wondered what, exactly, could possibly have inspired South Parks's dim-witted Officer Barbrady, I could offer my best guess.

I'm not about to believe anything printed or spoken about this case. The police are easy targets. Remember Henry Lee blasting the police etc in the OJ case.
Other than not pressing for a confession when he was first brought downtown, the case proceeded properly. No accounting for those who believe in jury nullification and that was NOT the police dept. fault. And the choice of Judge Ito....not the fault of the police either.

It's pretty sick that someone would pay to have their child daughter raped and killed. But sicker things have happened.
If there was a plot with the father, Karr will probably reveal it in court.

We do have a video of Karr being questioned by reporters in Thailand..He said very incriminating things about himself with regard to JonBenet.
Maybe he's just a perverted creep who cried wolf too many times and he is (and we are) now caught up in his own web of deception.

Maybe he wants to get sent to jail so that the state can pay for his sex-change operation. He was supposed to have that OP in Thailand but how was he going to pay for it when he was not working ?

Nothing from this guy would surprise anyone at this point. To understand a pervert, one would have to think that way. We may never know what motivates them.
