Did Karr fly in as babysitter/tutor to an employee and accessed a business computer while babysitting? Maybe this is the referral to the "You're not the only "fat cat"".
They're holding a lot back from us right now....and they should. They want a "conviction"...not an insanity plea, not a hung jury.....not a "it's my youth that made me this way".
Anyways, I'd say the entire family was at this affair. Hotel??....Anyone can walk in. Luncheon? My dad was a banquet waiter. I not only could walk in....they would hold the door open for me....no questions asked and they didn't even know me.
It is odd that he was sent to live with his grandparents. Also I have not heard much about Karr's mother (who raised him as a female, per the emails he sent to Tracey), maybe she died and the father sent him to live with is grandparents who chose not to treat him like a female.
Just keep thinking about the possibility of a little sister in his family.

I got in late and Kiran Chetry was summing up that Mitnick is convinced that Karr is the perp. Of course I missed his reasoning. I went to his url and didn't find his reasons there, but maybe my webtv can't access something on his site...who knows?
I'm curious, because he would be one of the very few not laughing their heads off at the notion of this nut being the one. Right or wrong in his beliefs, he has guts just for going against the tide of the moment.
Unless, like me, the idiot clicker hits the story about Republicans having no lips.

It has been driving me nuts for years.
Frankly, I just think it was a "diversion" conversation...in other words...a lot of cr**. I believe to whomever, he signed as Daxis. How about "six and Dead" .He's a rambler....Just like in his looooooong ransom note which makes absolutely no sense because she was dead and it must have been written before he even got to Jonbenet.
He wants to confuse the reader...the same as he did when they captured him...."It was an accident". "I loved her", "I was with her when she died". NOT ONE OF THOSE STATEMENTS FIT THE CRIME".

No one argues that the handwriting is alike. The overall style is different, even if some letter similarities might exist.
Handwriting can be an affectation. Notes are often written to disguise true identity if someone wishes to hide it. Yearbook handwriting can also be an affectation, for reasons of putting on a show for posterity.
The "Shall Be The Conqueror" initials of SBTC is more difficult to explain away, unless it is one of those amazing coincidences in which the odds against it are one in millions or billions, but it happens anyway.
That high schoolers want to conquer the world, or that the letter I is left out, does not address the utter strangeness of these exact letters being the same exact letter placed at the end of the ransom note.
You and I didn't write "Shall Be The Conqueror" in our high school yearbooks and then many years later confess to a crime that had the initials SBTC featured at the bottom of a ransom note.
You knock down straw men. Knocking down a straw man argument gets nowhere when dealing with the astonishing appearance of these letters in these two situations.
I don't yet know what to make of this whole situation. I am still open to possibilities.
I think his brother will know the WHOLE STORY behind the little phrase. Seems we're not hearing ANYTHING from his family right now......but think we're in for some wierd stuff to come......Like why can he only have supervised visits with his kids. That certainly implies abuse of some kind.
Maybe it was someone from his days at Subic Bay Training Center when he was in the navy....and remeianed in contact somehow.
According to a freeper, the mother died and then he was sent to live with his grandparents.
I have a cousin who developed it in her early thirties. She invented a fiance, and planned an entire wedding. She took her sister shopping for dresses and went on and on about this man she'd had a long relationship with but no one in our family had ever met. It was heartbreaking.
Good news is that she is doing very well now.

i hadn't heard that - what there a pen found that the heart was made with? any finger prints on that pen? or are we assuming if Karr did it, he wore gloves throughout the entire incident.
Actually, the Thai officials have said that he (Karr) did not say anything about drugging or picking up from school.
I didn't see the movie, or hear about those sentences, but did hear that he was obsessed with celebrity - type personalities, along with child murder cases.
