BANGKOK, Thailand - The American suspect in the killing of JonBenet Ramsey told investigators that he drugged and had sex with the 6-year-old beauty queen before accidentally killing her, a senior Thai police officer said Thursday.
An autopsy on Ramsey said a blood screening showed no drugs or alcohol in her body but said she had vaginal abrasions.
Lt. Gen. Suwat Tumrongsiskul, head of Thailand's immigration police, said by telephone that he was not present for the questioning, which was conducted by U.S. law enforcement officials.
But, according to what the general said he was told of the questioning, the suspect, John Mark Karr, "said he drugged the child." Suwat did not say who briefed him on the questioning.
Karr claimed he had sex with Ramsey, who was still alive, Suwat said. Karr said he then realized he had "accidentally" killed her, according to the general.
A spokesman for the U.S. Embassy said it had no information about Karr's alleged actions or what he said to questioners. U.S. and Colorado law enforcement officials were unavailable for comment.

It was on the radio this morning. I didn't say he was HER teacher, but A teacher. There's a difference. He was in Thailand looking for a TEACHING job. His TEACHERS CERT was pulled or expired in Colorado in 2002. I don't think it's drivel...........
And- they had 3 sons! YUK! I can't believe this guy has enough testosterone to have any children! Creepy doesn't even begin to describe him!

Karr was never IN a Thai jail. He was picked up in his apartment at the request of US authorities.

For all those folks baffled by the $118,000, it's easy to come up with an explanation.
The perp simply looked at the Ramsey's checkbook register while he was in the house. He creeps them out by asking for that exact amount, and also he knows they've got that much to cough up.
"Gimme your Christmas bonus and you will get her back!"
The only place I've seen the "3 sons" thing is in a post on FR. Is there a reliable source for that?
The guy's brother was on Greta last night talking about the 3 sons.
Or so he claims. I'm not inclined to believe a word this guy says about anything, without concrete evidence or corroboration from a sane person. After all, he also says he killed JonBenet "by accident", even though she had BOTH a massive blow to the skull and a clearly deliberate strangulation (the skull theoretically could have been an accidental fall, but no way both things happened accidentally).
That said....then back to the original question. How would this alleged perp know about the $118,000.00 bonus? Your response was clearly drawn out of thin air without any basis in fact.
