JonBenet Ramsey D.A.: More Work Needed
ASSOCIATED PRESS
BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - The district attorney in the JonBenet Ramsey slaying says there is "much more work" to be done in the case against the suspect and she is warning the public not to "jump to conclusions."

The other 2 murders were similar enough to the Paulk murder that officials think they may be connected. The No Alabama and Georgia case both happened close to places Karr once lived and that he would have been familiar with.
It may be nothing at all, but was a shock to hear it on the radio just now, and then see the story online in the local paper.
I thought Ed Smart and his brother were a little strange and they made some odd comments, but as I recall, the Smarts cooperated fully with the police when their daughter disappeared, and there wasn't a lawyer visibly on the scene. The Smarts didn't get railroaded into anything.
I had not heard that little tidbit. Even if true, I wouldn't think that the grandparents would have given away any classified information regarding the murder of their granddaughter. However, some elderly folks can be victims too.
I heard it mentioned that this guy was writing a book. That's why I got to thinking that IF that is true, perhaps he managed to bribe someone in the police department, etc., OR perhaps gained the trust of, or became friends with someone who had access to classified information and got them to say more than they should have. Stranger things have happened.
I agree. Also,I've read that,at least for awhile, they refused to be questioned separately. My understanding is that in such situations cops want to question the couple individually and then compare the stories. The closer the two stories are,the more likely it is that they're telling the truth.
Out of an abundance of caution many people will not hire men to babysit or act as nanny for their children, and I wouldn't either. I suppose others share my predictable bias.
He's also a trainer for the FBI, ICE and law enforcement all over the country to conducting lie detector tests. He's also considered THE expert on reading polygraph results and has been used in courts for both prosecution and defense atty's in more cases than most judges will even see in their lives.
The mans's credibility is impecible, he never met the Ramsey's prior to administering the test either. People want to make a big deal of the fact that the Ramsey lawyers hired him to do the test. If they were so worried about the results, this would not be the person to hire to conduct them. Not, with his decades long reputation of fairness, unbiased and accurate polygraphy skills.
What makes the charge he was some how more "friendly to the Ramseys simply because he was picked by their lawyers if that the Boulder PD themselves (along with more depts than I can name) have used him in the past on other cases.
He took the viewers step by step into that scenario. He concluded that the idea of an intruder was virtually an enormous joke. I, looked for the redoubtable Doctor once more, after my long session with FR. At 3:15pm EST I caught his image, while channel surfing CTV (Canada). I shouted out "They've got Cyril". My liberal spouse, who has much interest in the case, said "Who's Cyril"?.
The Doctor was making - from my view, a fine and dispassionate analysis. He virtually demolished teacher boy from Thailand.
The good doctor is the heavy artillery. Now where is Dr Henry Lee?.

So what, they are about as accurate as a fortune teller if you ask me. They may get lucky and get it right every now and then.
They weren't home that evening. He may have had to wait a while until the family showed up......Something to do, mess with the computer. He was a geek ya know. ;^)
I can tell you in murder investigations what is in the public record is not what is in the actual police files, coroners files or even judicial files until an arrest and actual trial takes place. Holdback evidence is a common tactic used by every law enfocement agency across the world.
Her autopsy report is public record, as they are in most states, however you'll notice the tox report is not included. I'm talking the full-blow, sample of blood, urine, stomach and intestional fluids, eye fluid, brain and spinal fluid etc that are sent for further toxocology study. It's very probably and extrememly easy to hold back information such as a particular substance injected into a victim that shows up during later tox tests but is never released to the public.
Don't be suprised if this guy is taken to trial for her murder, many bits of evidence never made public before will be introduced. Even with all the leaks in this case and "experts" who wrote books never found out about rarely are able to find out every bit of evidence or are willing to provide the information.
Does your bias have a rational basis to which you're willing to share?
I heard the press conference. She said he deserved a presumption of innocence and that they don't arrest people until the case is almost completely investigated. She just doesn't want this guy getting off by claiming he can't get a fair trial because of publicity.
You know...I keep wondering why some are so determined the Ramsey's are guilty. Now, I understand.
"You know...I keep wondering why some are so determined the Ramsey's are guilty".

Caution with respect to potential pedophiles, which is not irrational. How many people have you ever known who have hired male babysitters or nannies? For a lot of parents, it is out of the question.
Frankly, if this ever comes to trial, I think all will be horrified by what was held back and by how much "known" information was untrue or misunderstood.
