I think I remember the unknown DNA was from a male Caucasian.

"The only way they could hook up the DNA to it being a sneeze by the maker in Thailand itself is if the ethnicity was Taiwanese and I think DNA can exclude that."

You're confusing the Taiwanese, from Taiwan, with the Thai, from Thailand.

I replied to the first of the thread without reading everyone else's "Thailand" It was moving so fast that by the time I go to my post there were dozens of identical comments.....and yes I did laugh out loud.

I wonder if we'll see any retractions and apologies from the media and tabloids

I wonder if we'll see any retractions and apologies RIGHT HERE ON FREE REPUBLIC, who accused and scorned Patsy as she was buried, calling her a murderess?

Which means the police knew it wasn't a Thailand sneeze by underwear manufacturers.

Also to me means they knew something that didn't belong there that was foreign to the site was present and it excluded the Ramseys, yet they stalked them still.

Would a confession suffice?

Possibly. But, the reported DNA match makes a confession moot.

"A group that combats sex exploitation in Thailand."

Handy cover for a pedophile.

"Not sure why something you write in an email is any different from any other type of confession?"

I don't think it would be any different, IF it was indeed a confession? It's not clear if he gave details concerning her murder that only a killer would know (in the emails)..OR..if it was a real confession?

We'll see..

Think there might a chance that his book is just a tad self-serving?

You would have to read it to see what I'm talking about. As for being self serving - he quit police work and became a building contractor instead. The events that played out were a lot of bumbling by inexperienced cops who had never worked a homicide before, and by a DA's office that did a lot of things that would make a homicide detective anywhere else in the country want to eat a gun in frustration. The investigation was derailed at every opportunity, but not by the experienced street cops.

Sheesh, who cares?

It appears most everyone posting here has some interest.

If that bothers you, why are you reading this thread?

You are correct (thanks), but the bottom line was they had non-family DNA on her panties and the police ran the Ramsey family into the ground.

IMO if there is a confession the dad should sue the state or city for slander for millions.

They really screwed the whole family over. Not only did they lose a child, they then were tuned into OJs and had their estate removed from them by having to get lawyers against prosecutors.

How do you figure that?
