An arrest in the JonBenet Ramsey case is due to happen "shortly," according to sources in our newsroom -- I know I can't post the link to our site (we're a Gannett station, and despite the "ban", I would welcome the traffic), but most of you know where I work and what the site is...
According to our sister station in Denver, an arrest took place early this morning in Thailand.

I believe the house was built in the 1930's with many rooms in the basement. The house was huge.
WOW!!! I thought this case would never be solved.
At least Patsy had the satisfaction of knowing they were closing in on this SOB. Lin Wood, the Ramsey attorney, said he had discussed it with Patsy in the weeks before her death, and she knew the suspect was a viable one and would be brought to justice soon.
No matter how hard you are on yourself, you were a hero to that little girl.
And as the mother of little girls, I want to thank you too.

I recall reading that it was some 6500 square feet. Don't remember where I read that. Some synopsis of the case at a crime library type website. That's quite large, at least from my humble, middle class point of view.

That girl will remember you for the rest of her life. Hope she has a happy, healthy one.
Remember, though, he was thinking ALIVE. He was running around looking into rooms thinking she would be living, moving. He was probably not thinking about a body further back in a dark room. He probably wouldn't allow himself to go there. He did a very hurried check. The house was huge.
It sounds as if the DNA matched. Thank God he is caught.

I used to strongly feel that Patsy killed her until I read Lawrence Schiller's book "Perfect Murder, Perfect Town". Then I felt someone else had to have killed her.
But the note kept coming back to nag me. If they had met, even casually, and Patsy had blabbed, then that would explain the note.
Wonder if this will bring Geraldo out of seclusion.

There was autopsy evidence that JonBenet had been molested some days BEFORE the murder, so, yes, indeed, this evil man had access to her before.
Once the media got ahold of this case, they crucified the parents. I TRIED to believe they killed her, but never could bring myself to swallow it. Hopefully this clears up all doubt........especially for the son.
I don't remember it being that conclusive ... but I could be wrong.

I heard it on WLSAM. An ABC radio station.
I think the whole thing about the son doing it bordered on "way out conspiracy theory".
