An arrest in the JonBenet Ramsey case is due to happen "shortly," according to sources in our newsroom -- I know I can't post the link to our site (we're a Gannett station, and despite the "ban", I would welcome the traffic), but most of you know where I work and what the site is...
According to our sister station in Denver, an arrest took place early this morning in Thailand.

That is exactly what I always suspected. Some pedophile had a relationship with Patsy, just to be able to get to the real target, Jon Benet. Patsy wouldn't want to divulge all that she knew because it would mean she would have to come clean about the "affair."
Child molestation and pedophilia occur far more often by MEN than by Women, so I sure hope no MEN are ever in positions to be in private quarters with children.
The statistics of child molestation and pedophilia are overwhelmingly by MEN, not just "more commonly".

This crime has sickened me from Day One. No one wants to believe that a parent would/could ever harm their child.
If John Karr's handwriting is similar to Patsy's, then I will be open-minded. But until then, I suspect John Karr is just a very sick man, not the murderer.
I am not going to say I was wrong because it seems clear that Patsy Ramsey wrote the ransom note. Whatever involvement someone else may have had, Patsy Ramsey was not innocent.
I was in Pattaya Beach during the 80's. I witnessed family's bringing their children out to meet the visiting naval vessels anchored off-shore. A girl, no more than 10 (pre-pubescent) solicited my husband. They treat sex as nothing but a way to earn money. It was disturbing.
And so it begins.
So whose fault is it when a child is murdered? Enlighten us Oh Wise One! The Mom and Dad?..the outfit?...anything but the real guilty party: the one who killed her.

What is particularly outrageous is that we all KNOW that children found dead in their homes are rarely the victim of a parent!
Do I need a sarcasm tag here? Suspecting the Ramsey's was perfectly natural. If one of my kids were found dead in our home, and the incident happened while my husband and I were home, we'd be suspect. Rightfully so.
