An arrest in the JonBenet Ramsey case is due to happen "shortly," according to sources in our newsroom -- I know I can't post the link to our site (we're a Gannett station, and despite the "ban", I would welcome the traffic), but most of you know where I work and what the site is...
According to our sister station in Denver, an arrest took place early this morning in Thailand.

I didn't hear the word, "professor", only that he is possibly a scientist. Makes sense though that he could very well have been a professor at the local university.
I think that even POLICE assume it is a family member unless it is proven otherwise..
AND, there were too many times that the Ramsey's did things, that were just odd.
I lived in Boulder...not at the time, but I took notice because of that...but, I NEVER was obsessed about Patsy doing it...but I never was talked out of her being the murderer either.
THEN, I went on with my life..and haven't really thought much about it until today.
I am sorry if I came off harsh...but, like I said, there is story after story in Texas of women killing their children, so I am NOT going to assume they won't.
It is exactly what you decide you want it to be. If you want golf, beaches, nice people and great food, then that is what it is. You can avoid the seedy aspects easily if you choose to.

I wondered way back then if perhaps Patsy didn't have a "boyfriend" that may have been involved.
I cried too. What a sad story. My first was 4 at the time. That means JonBenet would have been 16 today.
