Someone explain what went on to me please. While it's a whiney post, what did this person do wrong?
It looked like they were complaining about g**gle.
Were they using a free republic to further the g**gle bomb? What?

You can tell when the Zot hits because the mods change the thread's title to something insulting and the poster's user page shows up as "banned or suspended."

I'm sorry to sound stupid. I REALLY am.
Here's what was wrong: first, that post was his one and only post, even though he's been sitting on the account for years. An account's first post is always viewed with suspicion, no matter how long the account itself has been active. In fact, if the account is as old as his and only has one post, it's viewed with heightened suspicion.
His post was a reference to, like, the first thing to appear on the Internet ever. It was old news. And it seemed like a fairly obvious attempt to get Freepers to reinforce the Google bombing by typing the phrase.
Basically, adding up all the circumstantial evidence, it was determined that the guy was a troll. So he got zotted.
Seems like kind of a waste of time to be Googling for turdlets. Did you know you can use your computer to look at porn? No, really. It'll change your life.
