I'm in Japan and wonder whose online at this time of the day (like 4:52AM Eastern time). I'm usually on earlier in the day and sleeping by 12midnight Eastern time. Care to check in? I also donate to FReeRepublic and you should too.
ARGH! There's only one T in wichita!
Just hit the ground home in Miami after a week in Sao Paulo and Santiago.
After 12 Years of global travel, I still find it a blast! Have fun in Japan!
I just looked at your FReeper page, you say you like cats.
Did you see the thread on cats recently? I'll ping you to it.

Sorry about that; I spelled it like some town where Hillary might live.
Hello Zuben from this undisclosed location in the wee hours in the USA.
What are Asahis?
"Some of the military folks in Iraq are online now; I think it's late afternoon over there."
Thank you for the service to your country. Zuben was involved in the development of herbicidal agents way back when. In Maryland. Unfortunately since you are in the desert, you never use my materials. Junglebeanies have to watch out tho.
"He was hell on wheels in the French Quarter"
I have French Quarter stories (used to hitch hike there for New Years, several years running), but it isn't me.
" If you are he, private email me cause I've got something to tell you."
Now we are all curious!
I'm in MA and going to make coffee.
I'm actually in Haysville, but all the same...
Thank you Cinnamon. Nice touch with tea, also, by the way.
I'm passed out on my couch. Please leave a message.
Too hot to sleep at 4:20 am in Louisiana. We have friends in the Air Force recently transferred to Japan & they are enjoying it, also.
Near Bethlehem, PA where Musikfest 2006 started today...

You'll do great. The first step is always the scariest.
Really? I'm a mile north of Haysville in Wichita proper.
I like your profile page. :)
11:20 AM, Honolulu - HI
Greetings from the People's Republic of Hawaii!
Apparently there are still some 'vanity post police' up at this time of the day. I imagine they are grumpy like that all the time. Prayer requests apparently are immune from the 'vanity post police', although they are not exactly news/activism topics either.
I suppose if you said your dog was sick and solicited prayers you would have been granted immunity.
I work nights, and always check in this time of day. I'm not married and a night owl, so I let others pick their shift even if I have senoiority or first dibs.
I just opened up a bottle of Golan wine (a Cab) after hearing M Medved suggest buying Israeli wines to show support for Israel. Not too bad, and it was a 'last of the lot' sale so I saved $6 as well.
