I'm in Japan and wonder whose online at this time of the day (like 4:52AM Eastern time). I'm usually on earlier in the day and sleeping by 12midnight Eastern time. Care to check in? I also donate to FReeRepublic and you should too.
Ohio gozaimas
Boots
Wickedly nauseated (not from alcohol) insomniac in SoCal checking in.
Went to your home page...Just curious...How did you know my ISP is rcn.com?
On the weekends, I just nap whenever I'm sleepy. No set schedule and lately it has been too hot to even think about doing anything outside.
"August, heavy with summer's hazes."
What are you doing over here ? i've been teaching in Japan for 20 years .
Thanks for posting. Our cats are night people so we are, too.
For people who liked "Lost in Translation" there's another good movie about Japan, "Enlightenment Guaranteed". Includes some beautiful scenes of the Sojiji Monastery in Monzen, near Tokyo. Would love to see that someday.
Saw it.
Liked it.
Especially the gratuitous Manga-esque panty shots of Scarlett Johanssen.
From a fellow Buckeye, I can understand. You ever visit the Ohio page in FreeRepublic? We are like the third most active posting state in FR. Lot's of good state-wide conversations and Common Tater really does focus quite well. I think I'll ping CT too.
Well , if you don't feel inclined to answer a simple question , screw you and your soapsuds Asahi .
Where in Japan are you? Close to Tokyo?
Yeah, what's with him? Two Japan FReepers check in and want to chat and he ignores both of us.
Has he gone native already ??????????
I had shashimi for lunch today and the tuna is really quite different from what we get on the mainland. It appeared to be three different sources of tuna, differing in fat content. Of course the more the fat, the more the Omega III fatty acids which are good for my heart (I had double bypass in August 2000). as a matter of fact, I'll celebrate six years since surgery in Hiroshima on August 8. I did not plan this but it just happened this way.
LOL... from where he's sitting I guess he was having a good time thinking that he was the only FReeper in Japan and we are stealing his thunder by posting on his thread.
Let's leave him alone to enjoy his Asahi.
I am about ready to go out for a chu-hi or something anyhow. It's finally cooling down outside.
Up in Wyoming. :-)
I'm quaffing a chu hi right now ! Nice breeze down here this evening .
Well, glad you're up. So far, there's been 895 views on this thread.
Asahi is part owner of my US company. We supply them with Soda Ash for glass manufacturing.
Well you know here in the US, you almost always have a choice of Maguro (regular) or Toro (fatty) tuna.
