Well you know here in the US, you almost always have a choice of Maguro (regular) or Toro (fatty) tuna.

We have maguro ; toro ; chu ( middle ) toru , and the fattiest o-toro .

Up early for golf today.

Yeah, we can have Toro, but it's $6 a piece...

I've been to Tokyo, Nagano, Ube and parts inbetween and around ...

You are right but I'll tell you, AU, the fish is pretty good in Japan. One of our country manager's took me to a fish restaurant that was located right in the Tokyo fish market. THIS was good tuna and salmon. I even had a portion of the sea anemonae. When I was in Singapore, I had some scallops on the shell. First time raw scallops. Pretty sweet.
