I once had an excellent bit of coordination with a Log Cabin guy regarding Fidel Castro's potential attendance at the WTO in Seattle. We orgainzed a few hundred local protesters to stand by in case he came, got press to cover our objections, and we were part of the reason Fidel canceled.
There are times we'll agree, and others we'll disagree. If you can stand the heat on the disagreements, I'd say, "welcome."

You should simply post like everyone else, you won't be different for merely disagreeing on an issue, believe me, this is not a lock-step site.
Why would you want to have a special chat area for "us", as you refer to yourself and others "like you"? Why does your sexual orientation matter and why do you want to segregate yourself rather than join in with everyone else on all-things-political? Strikes me as someone who is much more liberal than consrvative; someone who defines himself by the "group" he "belongs to" rather than by his ideas. Please help me understand why you would immediately try to seperate yourself from 98% of the users of this site.
