We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Israel has moved around 10,000 troops into Lebanon. In Lebanon, Israel raided a hospital in a Hezbollah-controlled area and captured several guerrillas hiding there.
Toyota overtook Ford in monthly sales last month.
And it reached only 98F in Washington yesterday; 101F, with a heat index of 114F, forecast today.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
I would love to see old episodes of the Muppet show! Where'd you find this Jemian?
I ordered the first season of the Muppet Show. It was great. We've been watching a disc, of four, each night.
Good morning. Ollie and Levin had the crowd cheering and Colmes had the crowd booing. It was great.
Former Hezbollah hostage Jacobsen described how the jihadists killed his friend, beat a Marine hostage, and fed another hostage rat poison and nearly killed him. I hope Alan remembers that the next time he talks about the "torture" (panties on the head) of jihadists at Abu Graib.
We're under a heat advisory, I think, AND a flash flood alert....just another day in n.e. Ohio
I've been waiting and waiting for these shows to be available...the libray now has the DVDs, and I've just ordered the first season, vo. 1. Thanks so much Jemian!!!
Nope, it's cooler outside this a.m...mid-70s, high, mid-80s...
I meant to tell you that I ordered it from Amazon. I understand they're getting Season Two for release. I loved that show; it was soooo funny. And Zoot reminds me of my husband.
I got a call from JemiansTerror. His platoon went for a run yesterday and crawled through mud. I think he said classroom work is scheduled for today.
Good Morning. I caught up on some lost sleep last night. It wasn't planned, but it was welcome.
We had a bit of rain last night, and it appears there may have been some wind with it. Things are sort of rearranged on the patio.
LOL about Zoot! I'll keep that in mind when I watch it again...
76 degrees here and headed up to 98 today. I'm looking forward to the 92 high tomorrow.
Word of warning: Don't try the okra muffin recipe. I added sharp cheddar and more hot sauce to some just to see if there was an improvement. None. The outside cats liked them though. ;)
Good morning, Chairman. Your new thread does not show up...I think it's the extra A in America.
Good morning.
It's so hot here my husband decided not to golf. A good decision.
I have a lot of grocery shopping to do; I'm feeding approx. 40 people after church and my friend who was going to help me is unable to do so now.
Your halo is showing, Peach! Cooking for 40 people all by yourself (and in this heat wave) is a major effort that I hope the recipients of your gift of the goodness of your heart, as well as the time, money, and cooking expertise will appreciate. (Note: Do NOT bake okra muffins. LOL)
LOL. I won't make those muffins.
Someone takes turns cooking every week and we go next door to the church to a pretty little congregational center with a really nice kitchen. It will be hot getting all the food inside but after that, it will be okay.
I'll start baking today and freeze some stuff and then Sunday morning I'll make the tea sandwiches which means I'll definitely have to give a pass to the Sunday morning talk shows which will put me in a better frame of mind for church anyway :-)
CM... There won't be much okra muffin mking around here. Mostly its blueberry muffins at the moment. (Blueberries in season.)
High of a pleasant 82 degrees for today, with much less humidity!
I know Mozie's happy!
i AM BEING LAZY TODAY, DOING NOTHING OVER AND OVER.....
