We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Israel has moved around 10,000 troops into Lebanon. In Lebanon, Israel raided a hospital in a Hezbollah-controlled area and captured several guerrillas hiding there.
Toyota overtook Ford in monthly sales last month.
And it reached only 98F in Washington yesterday; 101F, with a heat index of 114F, forecast today.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

You're on a roll, kiddo.
I'm going to turn in for the evening. Have a good evening. Or what's left of it.

I would tuck in my shirt-tail if I was wearing a shirt. Or pants. Or....
I've been working. Every time my boss hands me a paycheck, I will remind him that he's paying me to type on a computer at home, starkers, smoking cigarettes and drinking strong coffee.
This is a GREAT country.

I've stiched a bunch of Terraserver detail aerial images into a great 8+MByte jpeg image that my laptop now hates.
I really need a Cray workstation. I'm having problems selling that to upper management. Their question: "So, after a couple of hours, your cursor returns and only has a 15 second delay? Use it for a while...."

I read that The Notes and Mussings of a Madam. LOL! And I wondered, did Lewinski write a book? Can she even read a book that isn't colored in?

Can she even read a book that isn't colored in?Ouch. That's going to leave a mark.
While I was out war-driving this morning, I drove by Mom's. She's back from visiting Sister in New Zealand. And she's suffering from jet-lag.
It's good to have her back home. Now. In a couple of weeks, I'll be gritching.

Jet lag. Not fun. Not fun at all. Does your mom travel through Guam to get to NZ? What's the route and who flies it?
I'm not sure that I'd let the boss know how relaxed I am while I'm at work. I think I'd want him to think that I'm sweatin' up a storm, really slavin' away.

I'm not relaxed. I'm sweating away. That's why I work from home in the raw. ;>)
Mom generally flies through Hawaii. And she generally takes Quantas. I don't know the details for this trip.

I'm looking for something a little more direct than the route we normally take. We have to go past our stop and fly back. There are some airlines which I try to avoid including anything remotely Korean and, of course, DELTA. I don't think I've done Quantas yet.
I'm going to bed. I ate too much chocolate chip cookie dough. Poor JT, it was to be sent to him.

Sleep well. I'm calling it a night, too. My poor laptop needs a break. I'm proud of it for doing so well with such a large image. 8 meg was the compressed file. It works out to be about 350 meg uncompressed. (Half of the image is of a lake. That compresses well) I over-rode the filesize warnings to create it in GIMP. But it did as well as could be expected.
A dear friend leaves for the hot AO tomorrow. I ask for travel and war mercies for him.
God bless us all. Each and every one.

Good morning.
Dang it. I fell asleep less than five minutes into H&C. I wanted to see Ollie, Jacobsen, Levin at the Freedom Concert.

I was watching the Muppet Show with LionsDaughter. The desire to be with her outweighed the Freedom Concert. Its all about choices.
