But given her propensity towards problems with money, and her history of making money in strip clubs, bars, parks, on the street, this would not be a shock, now would it? The fact that Pleasure Ryde is on several Escort Websites is strange at best.
Pleasure Ryde wants some business.... based on the number of websites she has been listed on, and mentions relocating, and being harmless. Why would any one on an Escort Service website say they are harmless??? Kind of makes you think, doesn't it? What escort even mentions harmless and nuts? They usually only talk about sex.

This is the response I got from all the omissions in the N&O article in the PRINT edition:
"As public editor, I'm not privy to the reporting that went into this article, but usually we are reliant on the police report for our information, and I assume that was the case Saturday. I note that the follow-up story on The N&O website today says that the verbal exchange "included the use of racial epithets by some of the off-duty Durham officers.""

I went over the Court TV side to see if the message is getting out and, unless it was temporary, it looks like they shut down the DUKE section completely. It looks like it's read-only mode at this point and a bunch was deleted.

In reference to Kim Robert's second postponement, it should be noted that Matthew Murchison's trial was also postponed.
It seems there is power in charges hanging over one's head, and at same time you can dodge Media charges of intimidation or favoritism - by NOT ruling on a case.

I went to WalMart last nite and bought six biggie rolls of Reynolds Heavy Duty...
They know exactly how much she owes, that's the biggest bunch of crap I ever heard.
She had an outstanding warrant out for her arrest for parole violations - one being she had not paid any restitution. I believe she was working under a false name, because the state automatically garnishes your wages when you owe them any resitution or have any court-order payment that you have not paid.
In fact, in North Carolina your income tax return is automatically confiscated and is applied to your court ordered restitution balance if you are in arrears.
This crime was 2001 - a long time ago. Kim stated she was using a phone registered to someone else the night of the party, she also used a fake name. I suspect she's been hiding out for many years - and operating on a cash basis. If your not paying taxes, I don't have to tell you, that's illegal.
Of course, the Durham court is working to keep it all under wraps. They don't want to inflame anything and give the Defense attorneys or opponents any ammunition to demonstrate the unfairness of the political persecution.
I'm thinking about taking all the posts out of the archive and pasting them into the new thread. Should I?
The problem with this is that many people work illegally for cash in North Carolina. Kim Roberts Pittman even bragged about all her "tax free income" in one of her interviews. If they never pay tax, they never get a refund to confiscate.
