Humane agents warned a Westmoreland County woman it was only a matter of time before the wolf hybrids she kept as pets turned on her.

The trick is that it takes 2000 years to do it. She did not have the time, and she knew it.
A photoshop of him with fangs would come in handy.
>>Wolf hybrids do not make good pets, experts say.<<
LOL! Hmmm..you might have something there.
>>"She loved those wolves just like pets. She told me she was part American Indian, and she told me it was part of her ethnic background," said Brian Gallagher, a longtime friend who has a theory about what happened.<<
Sounds like you watched Pocahontas one time too many.
>>"They were all one pack ... including Sandra, who was considered the leader of the pack. I think one of them may have wanted to take over as leader of the pack," Gallagher said. <<
Reminds me of the animal-wacko couple in California who baked their chimp a birthday cake. He was in a zoo for agressive behavior.
Anyway, when they gave him the cake, two chimps attacked the man, ripping off his genitalia and most of his face.

"The trick is that it takes 2000 years to do it. She did not have the time, and she knew it."
Her time is, most decidedly, up.
You should print out the article and give her a copy.
Killing? Possibly. However, there are a number of recorded wolf attacks on humans. I'd say that a fatality is bound to occur eventually.
"Hybrids are dangerous animals. I understand there has never been a record of a wild wolf killing a human. Has anyone else heard this?"
This is a lie spread by the animal worshipers. In Europe hundreds, perhaps thousands of people were killed by wolves in the middle ages and until firearms became widespread. In North America a pack of wolves killed and ate a hiker several years ago.
>Hybrids are dangerous animals. I understand there has never been a record of a wild wolf killing a human. Has anyone else heard this?<
I haven't heard about a wolf killing a human, but they certainly have killed plenty of farm animals. The Animal Rights people saw that many wolves were released into the Northtern states a few years ago. If there is evidence of one killing a human being, the ARers should be answerable in court. The charges? Murder.
One of the best dogs I've ever known was a silver wolf/malamute mix.
Wolf hybrids are not like dogs. First of all, they have intelligence greater by an order of magnitude. Second, that unlike dogs, who mature with an adolescent personality, wolves hybrids achieve emotional adulthood.
They are not pets. The best relationship you can hope for is for them to look at you as a dominant peer. They also have a strong need for intellectual stimulation, so keeping them in cages may make them dangerous.
The most well-adjusted wolf hybrid I've met lived on a ranch, and worked alongside the hands doing difficult tasks that he was better at, such as detecting and warning for wild animals, especially rattlesnakes, night watch guard and lookout. He gave quick warning at the ranch house of tresspassers and visitors, and didn't object to being offered beer with his dinner. He would not wear a leash.
I've heard it too, but never checked it.
A good friend of mine had a wolf/malamute cross. It was an awesome dog, and a blast to hike with in the mountains.
He and his girlfriend had a ferret (which found them), I'll never forget watching the dog & ferret play. Too funny.
To make a long story short, this was just the beginning -- the mess, the smell, the ever-present hazard, not to mention the 2 A.M. drunken parties -- I eventually ran the dirtbags out of the neighborhood. At least they were smart enough to beat feet when it came time.
Later I heard the wolfdog had bit the guy's girlfriend, he shot it, and went to jail for discharging a firearm within city limits.
I've never heard of anyone actually being attacked by a healthy wolf, although they do kill domestic livestock regularly.
Don't insult wolves like that!;)
Yeah, you were told it was part wolf. If it was a wonderful dog, I doubt that seriously.
Are you talking about the Bengal cats? Some have spots and stripes? My husband and I looked a one in a pet store once, upon hearing the asking price for the cat ($850) my husband asked a very offensive question about what else the cat would do for that price besides eat, poop, and lick its own hiney.
I've seen them while hunting in northern Minnesota, they've always turned tail and run when they saw me. I don't think that they pose much danger to humans, at least compared to the puma and bear that live up that way.
Once I have seen an adult forest cat [felis sylvestris, I beliebe - Eurasian bobcat] in tame condition, but it was a freak. Somehow it got the psychology of a guard dog, and was "protecting" its owner.
