If this moonbat had dissed someone a little younger than
Buzz they'd have ripped his head off and crapped down his neck.

John Young is my hero, and not just for that comment. NASA broke with established policy and never flew an unmanned shuttle to test the launch & re-entry system. John Young (along with pilot Robert Crippen) flew the Columbia into orbit and returned to Earth, proving that the Space Shuttle could carry men into space and return them safely home. Never mind that he also walked on the moon and I think still holds the orbital altitude record from Gemini 10.
The moonbat Sibel predictably sued, but a judge decided that Aldrin had been provoked, and tossed the case out. It was the right ruling.

Not only SHOULD Aldrin have drilled the moon bat he should have punched out Nixon when he canceled Apollo 18 and 19 to use the money to solve all of America's social ills in 1970. It was, by the way, a pretty good right jab for an old guy. :o)

This creep has been stalking and harassing moon walkers for years. He got off easy, imho. He’s lucky a younger and more hot-headed admirer of Buzz didn’t clean his clock, off camera.

I assume you watched the video. He was asked to stop harrassing Aldrin. He didn't. He continued to insult him close up. He asked for the punch out, he deserved it.
I think that had most of us been in Mr. Aldrin's position, with a wacko practically spitting in our face, we'd have done the same thing.
Even if it is a fake, it is still gratifying to see a moonbat get popped.
There were concepts before your time called honor and integrity. These concepts, while foreign to many in this more enlightened age, are held dear by many in previous generations.
When a man’s honor or integrity were questioned it was a given that a MAN would have the right to defend those characteristics, at times forcefully.
If a man did something dishonorable, he was worthy of scorn from his peers and marginalized by society. Again, a foreign concept (scoundrels are held in high regard in this age).
That was long ago. Even the lawsuit has been tossed by now.
Some forms of rudeness deserve this kind of response. The moonbat had it coming.
